BHRIGU LAKE
Bhrigu lake is at the height of of around 4300 in kullu distrct of himachal pradesh,India. The name of the lake is derived from the famous saint Bhrigu who used to meditate at the meadows near the lake.This was the sole reason behind the locals started believing, why water never freezes here.It is also said that the local devtas used to visit the lake during the festivals to take a dip in its holy water.

HOW TO REACH BASE CAMP?
Gulaba is 24km from manali which is an hour drive on the manali-leh highway.And the trek starts from the gullaba to bhrigulake which is 6km away. Trek takes you through the pine and cedar forest , snow peaks, bird watching. Lakes lies between the mountain. Feeling of tranquility near the lakes gives you the other side of the experience.
BEST TIME TO GO?
August to October in winters and June & july in summers are the best time vsit this lake.
