"A well built fort which is still very much firm enough to hold it's head high in spite of getting shadowed by the nearest city genius i.e. Taj Mahal. This place is well maintained. You can have a great view of the Yamuna banks and Taj mahal with wind blowing in your face. This place is full of historical incidents like Diwaan-e-khas, Sishmahal etc. Lots of people come here and it will be a shame if you don't visit this place after coming to Agra. "

"Amazing place. Can get glimpse of mughal arena. You can see the destruction caused by the British bullets. The prison where Aurangjeb imprisoned his father Shahjahan. And a clear view of Taj Mahal. Kala Takht, Safed Takht, everything of this fort tells the story and glory the passed time."

"Agra has two world famous tourist places. Taj creates awe. But this place reaaly gives you glimpses and details of Moghul period. One can come here repetitively while Taj looks monotonous during repeat visits."

"Absolutely stunning fortification from an engineering & defense perspective. Unfortunately a lot of it is currently (31/1/2016) under construction and whatnot , so you can only access about 20% legally. Don't bother bribing guards here, but the odd gate is open nonetheless. Always fun to explore. The fella that ordered this to be built quite likes secret passages, so there are many side passages and corridors to explore. "
