"Simply Awesome Collection of Sculptures and Paintings ! This museum is a exceptional treasure trove of collection of artifacts from various regions and historical times. But there is a inescapable need to display and preserve these invaluable cultural treasure of our glorious past in more professional and appealing manner. Infrastructural facilities both in terms of human resource and space management requires urgent up-gradation and museum needs to be expanded to accommodate more artifacts. Capt. "I was quite impressed with the display at the Museum. The BC artefacts are well maintained and highlighted. Two statues of women which are two centuries apart and are kept together is a brilliant display,as it shows that jewellery has not changed much. In fact even today one sees similar jewellery still in use. I liked the display of articles of Shri Jawaharlal Nehru. I liked the room where some original manuscripts of poets are kept. The brochure that is handed to visitors is very useful, however if the room number where an important item is displayed is given in the brochure, it will become easier for visitors. The Museum is one of the better maintained and displayed museums that I have seen. The toilets were clean. This museum is a must visit for visitors to Allahabad, which has been an important city through the ages."

"Indian archeology and architecture is one of the best in country, rest is mediocre. Four damsels from Jasot is absolutely stunning and unique. Really informative about rock cave art of Vindhyachal. Good location, staff - typical Indian babudom! Replicas available but sub standard. "
