                        “After trekking veillaiangiri andavar temple hill. I came maruthamalai Sunday eve at 6 walk from the foothill on the way there is idumbar kovil. Then there at one stage there Was Elephant shape stone in the left side of walking steps it was look elephant head and trunk. Then reaches the temple in entrance there is panja muga Vinayagar under a arasamaram then in the right side there was a murugar statue which in carved in stone sitting in the peacock one leg in the peacock and the other leg in ground and the velliangiri facing ground after. Then had a great dharisanam of arulmigu subramaniyaswami. then spent some time in the temple feel good, enjoyed by sourounded forest and cool breeze 😊😃 an excellent place to visit and pray good surrounding fully peaceful 😉”

                            The Amaravathi Dam is a dam at Amaravathinagar, 25 kilometres south of Udumalpet in the Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary, Tirupur district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is notable for the significant population of Mugger Crocodiles living in its reservoir and catchment’s basin. There is a well laid-out park where one may climb steep steps on the dam to have a picturesque view north of the plains below and south to the Anaimalai Hills and Palani Hills above.
