"It's a lifetime unforgettable memory. Very enchanting. Generally Aarti starts from 6pm during winter and 7pm during summer. One may offer ₹10 to as much possible, to Ganga Aarti Committee. Persons roam on ghat and will issue proper receipt. During the Aarti songs and chorus will feel pleasant."

"This place hosts a great colourful spiritual ceremony which includes mantras, spiritual music, sound of river water and a huge crowd A must see ceremony performed by the priests everyday around 5.30 pm - 6 pm at the temple on the bank of river ganga. The specific location of Aarti will be 'Har-ki-Pauri'. To grab a good spot one should reach there by 5:00 pm. Don't carry any valuables or expensive stuff to the ceremony, it gets really crowded but it's worth to be in that crowd. If you are looking to take lots of pictures it's better to grab a spot on the on the bank/ side opposite to the bank where the Aarti is performed . Though it's called a religious ceremony, i would consider it as a spiritual ceremony; the mix of mantra, spiritual music, sound of river water and presence of a huge crowd just makes it a unique experience."
