Once home of Nawabs of Junagadh, Mahabat Maqbara is also sepulcher of Baha-ud- din and Mahabat Khan. Marvelous arches, numerous domes, and towering minarets, the architecture is at its best. The monument is sited inside the city in a very busy area. Generally the public is not allowed inside the fort but it can be seen by attaining the keys from the mosque situated beside it. It is a blend of Indo-Islamic and Gothic architecture depicting the sense of equality and exchange between both the cultures. It is Gujarat’s most glorious fort.
