Shikari Devi Temple
The Shikari Devi Temple is a famous Hindu temple positioned in the middle of snow capped mountains with a beautiful view of pine, deodar woods and apple orchards. As per the legends, the temple is believed to be in existence from the time of the Pandavas and is dedicated The Shikari ( Hunter ) Devi.
The temple has no roof on top of the temple. The temple offers wonderful trekking experience in Himachal Pradesh and is the perfect place for trekkers. Janjheli, a small village around 80 km from Mandi is considered to be a paradise for hikers and natural lovers. This place is the base for the trek to Shikari Devi temple.
