It is fairly one of the easiest treks and any person of any age can do this trek. Barring a few patches when you have to climb the steep stairs, it’s mostly a cakewalk. The panoramic view from top of lohagad fort is marvellous and spectacular.
The highlight of the trek is Vinchukata (Scorpion’s tail). It looks like a scorpion’s tail and hence the name. The trek passes through charming little villages. Waving to the passing villagers along the way or having bread with them is altogether a different experience.
You can check out the ancient but well preserved Bhaje caves nearby.
