                            Bhira Dam or popularly known as Tata Power house dam in Kolad is one of the biggest hydroelectric power projects in the country in terms of size. The huge dam has turned the region into a hub of tourist activity. Nearby the dam people enjoy picnicking and boating in the waters. Region surrounding Bhira dam and reservoir is known for its natural beauty and lush green surroundings. With a local population of just about 10,000, this is a rather sleepy place that oozes with calmness and tranquility. Bhira waterfall gushes down in its full glory at the peak of the rainy season during the months of June to August. So if you are in wanting to get away from the crowds, din and pollution of the cities just love visiting here for weekend trips to get refreshed and rejuvenated. Tourists can also visit the Birla Salao Temple and the Pali Ganesh Mandir situated nearby.

                            Kuda caves or popularly known Buddhist caves are rock cut caves are considered as a spectacular example of Buddhist cave art and architectural excellence. Kuda caves are situated at an altitude of 150 to 200 m above sea level. Kuda caves give a picturesque view of the surrounding valley as it is situated on hilly terrain. Kuda Caves in all are 26 rock-cut caves, 11 rock-cut cisterns and 30 inscriptions. All caves are located as compact group, outer caves are not further than 200 m away. The rock cut cave represents Buddhist culture and thirty inscriptions describe donations by lay Buddhists and Buddhist monks. Front gate of the caves presents rock carved images of elephants. Entrances open to the south-west, there opens beautiful view on fine landscape – estuary with steep hills around it.

                            Tala fort is a fortified monument on the southern bank of Malti creek which lies in east west direction at a height of 1000 feet above the sea level. This fort is separated from the rest of the hill by a wide gap. The bottom of the hill on which the fort located is surrounded by thick woody forest.  The strategic location of the Tala fort gives a beautiful view of Rajpuri River. Tala fort is one of the protected monuments which was built during the reign of Bhoja Raja and was used as a watch on the beautiful Rajpuri stream. This fort is a very good example for the artistic talents of that generation. Being surrounded by hilly terrains and green forests adds to the charm of the place. The historic importance and the fabulous look of Tala fort attract a large number of people throughout the year. Once a center of prime importance, now this marvelous construction stands as the relic of its past glory.
