"You can't visit Kolkata and not visit Howrah Bridge. Its like the Eden Garden of bridges. Best use is to cross the bridge (it shakes a little which is fun) on foot then take ferry at the end terminal for Dakshineshwar & Belur Math. The bridge is not connected to a Metro line so you either depend on bus/cab or ferries. Don't be late. It does not light up at night."

"taking walk over this bridge at night makes feel awesome...the bridge vibrates because of the load of vehicles the beginning u may feel quite fearful but later you enjoy it..the river has special sense in this feeling....many vendors use to sell vegetables and other small things's not a very clean area but very important in aspects of transport"

"A fine specimen of engineering. You will be amazed to see this bridge spanning across the Hoogly river. It is a "must see" place for anyone who will ever come to Kolkata. The construction is one of its kind."
