Komic village also pronounced as Komik or Koumik village is renowned for being the highest village with a motorable road in Asia. This tiny and serene village is also believed to be the highest in the world. The views of the Komik village from the monastery with the snow capped mountain ranges in the background, the play of light & shadows on the mountain slopes, the furiously fluttering prayer flags were awe-inspiring to say the least.
