"This is not a tourist trap, there is indeed a space in the middle of the park like area where you can spot many species of birds. What is key is two things: 1- you need to get really early (at dawn), virtually you need to be there as the sun is rising, not later. 2- When you get in, there is a path to follow, what you need to do is follow the path straight away steadily to the very end, do not waste time looking left and right to spot birds (you can do that on the way back), at the VERY END (make sure you are at the end) of the path, there is a tower, climb it and you will see the the space where the birds are. After you enjoy the spotting and photo making, then you can make your way back and slowly try to spot birds. It is also a good idea that you put mosquito repellent on your body unless you do not mind getting bidden."

"Nice place. I visited there in last February . One of the civil polices, his name starts with "S"I think, short guy . I wish I could remembered his name. I'm a malayali but a foreign citizen. After years i came to visit my motherland . My friend and I went there and he stopped us while we were walking and started talking to me in a such rude way. I'm a girl and he talked me as am a "bad girl". Very disrespectful. Like I said I wish I could remember his name to file a complaint. It was a 2 weeks trip, so I didn't get a chance to do that. Police stand for Polite Obedient Loyal Intelligent Courageous and Efficient. He is not a actual police officer and he doesn't have the right to talk to me that way. "
