"A very beautiful and peaceful place. You can enjoy the scenic beauty of the Himalaya and meditate in the quiet under the magnificent statue of Gautam Buddha. It's generally quite isolated and quiet. The panoramic views are brilliant and breathtaking. "

"I went there in September '15. There are less than 100 steps but you can't make easily. When you go on the top you can see 360 view. Awesome!! You can see full Nubra valley. Nice wall paintings over there and those were being restored. This monastery is very old and big in this region. Must visit!!"
