Shanti Stupa in Leh / Ladakh

The beautiful white colored dome, dominating from the hill top. Shanti Stupa or the 'Peace Pillar' stands tall as the symbol of world peace. It was built in 1991, by a Japanese Monk. Apart from its religious significance, it offers a stunning panoramic view of Leh. Sunrise and sunset are times, this place is best to visit and the light show in the evening just make it spectacular.
