Neemrana Stepwell-Stepping into History

#Monument in Neemrana

Neemrana Stepwell or Rani ki Baoli is 17th century monument. It was built by the Rajas of Neemrana for famine relief. It did served as sarai (resting places) for travellers and traders as they were on-route, with ample water and cooler. You would amazed to know that this stepwell is even older than America.

The echo of the chirping of birds here, sets up the place for a perfect morning trek. You can trek up or walk the sand dunes to descend 9 storeys below the ground..
