The Jonha falls is situated at an edge of the Ranchi plateau . It is an example of a hanging valley falls. The Ganga river hangs over its master stream , Raru river and forms the falls . One has to descend 500 steps to admire the surroundings . Water in the falls drops from a height of 43 metres or 141 feet.
The flowing water forms a rainbow and it's very scenic. You must visit the falls during or just after the monsoon when the flow of water remains high.
