The Mankameshwar Temple was built in 1978 by the Kumaon Regimental Centre of the Indian army. The Temple is dedicated to three main deities namely goddess Kali, Lord Shiva and the pair of Radha-Krishna. This temple is well known among the devotees this is one of the reasons that people in large number visit this place to explore the rich beauty of the deity. The scenic beauty in and around the temple is classic and majestic. A gurudwara and woollen garment factory is also situated near this temple.
