"Thajwas is more of natural scenery with patches of grassland, trees and most importantly water flowing amidst them and that too from the source, Glacier itself. What differentiates it from GULMARG and PAHALGAM? Both are in a way more scenic than Sonmarg with lots of water (minus glacier) at Pahalgam and lots and lots of greenery, meadows grazing land and trees (minus any sort of flowing water) at Gulmarg."

"Snow covered hillsides, not exactly a glacier, maybe I didn't reach the final destination. Climbing up through snow and sledging down is a big attraction. Plus points for not being commercialized. Easy 45 minute walk through the hillsides for young people, don't take cars or mules."
