Zeilad Lake is one of the many lakes in Tamenglong and the most famous one too. Situated on a high platform up on the hill, the lake is noted for its picturesque location and abundant scope for adventure. It is situated near the Zeliadjung(Atengba) village. There are many pythons, fish, tortoises and water birds that have made the Zeilad Lake their home. It is another reason people come visiting the Lake. Many migratory birds also come here every here. Zeilad Lake has recently been declared as one of the four wildlife sanctuaries of Manipur.

The Buning (N-piulong) meadow is located on the western side of the Tamei town. A number of well-groomed uneven smallmounts, numerous glittering brooks studded the stretch. Cries of Hoolock gibbon, howling of foxes and melodious chirping of birds altogether form Buning a big family of the wildlife evoking wonder and admiration of many who come to witness the meadow. Khoupum Khouduang (Water fall) in Khoupum Valley is surely a place to explore the most of nature. Manipur is known for the lakes and waterfall. This waterfall is less known to the travellers. The height of the waterfall is about 60 to 70 feet. Such tall waterfall is extremely loud and noisy. The place is serenely beautiful for a picnic spot. The rocks and the green cover enhances the view at this natural wonder. The road to the waterfall is not perfect condition, it would better to trek on the last stretch of 100 feet.
