#Cave in Tura
Siju Caves in Tura

Siju is the third largest cave in Indian sub-continent. Till now, no one is being able to map this large cave completely. It is also known as Bat cave(dabokhol in local language), due to a large number of Bats present inside it. You can find some of the rarest species of Bats here.
Siju cave is located in Garo hill on the bank of Simsang river.
It has some of the finest and longest river passages in the world, which till date nobody has ever reached the end. Siju has some marvelous limestone rock formations with stalactite and stalagmites.

Note: Carry headlamp/torch and waterproof shoes(preferably gum boots)
