"This gorgeous old villa house "haveli" has been restored from previous neglect to sensitively stand as a bastion of the area's many cultural aspects. It's still crumbling in parts, which I find more authentic than if it had been pristine throughout. I enjoyed watching the most beautiful sunset from the rooftop, possibly a privilege afforded only because I was with a local. As everyone else has said, the evening show is fabulous. And for the privilege of photographing, or filming the artists in action I urge you to please pay the extra 100 rupees, and not run off without doing so, that's just rude & disrespectful. "
