The New Kashi Vishwanath temple is a Lord Shiva Temple and it is the precise replica of Kashi Vishwanath Temple. It is one of the holiest temple of Lord Shiva and among the 12 jyotirlingas of India. Kashi Vishwanath Temple has been a living picture of the timeless cultural traditions and highest spiritual values attracting Hindu devotees and other visitors not only from India but also the world over.

The temple is specially decorated on the festivals of Navratri, Shivratri, and Janmashatami. It is 7Km far from Varanasi Railway Station. It is Located in the sprawling campus of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU). There are three approach lanes to reach the temple, 1 st  via Dashashwamedh Road, 2nd via Bansphatak and 3rd via Gyanvapi. Numerous rituals, prayers and Aarti are held throughout the day, starting from 2:30 am till 11:00 pm. The huge campus of New Vishwanath Temple is a delight to the eyes of visitor. The interior has a Siva lingam and verses from Hindu scriptures are inscribed on the walls.
