"In ramnagar I like three things 1. Lassi from a shop just in front of the ramnagar fort 2. The museum is quite ok. 3. Backside Ganges view, it's really awesome. "

"One of those rare forts constructed by Hindu king bang on the bank of Ganges. This fort made of Chunar stone is favorite haunt of Bengali film makers. Bengali films like Nauka Dubi,Chokherbali, Har Har Byomkesh had been shot here. No doubt a picturesque location."

"An example of bad management of precious resources. Poorly maintained, no professional staff, no safe water, the wash rooms are horrible, no directions- this is a dilapidated fort. Owners are just trying to make maximum profit with least effort. If you can tolerate the above, will get a glimpse of Raj's life and a beautiful Ganga."

"The fort houses the palace of the rules of kingdom of Banaras. Now the royal family lives in a portion of the fort. Much of it is converted into a museum."
