Sang-e-Safed or ‘White Rocks’ is located at a distance of 10 km from the Yusmarg Valley. Sang-e-Safed is an oval-shaped meadow bisected by a Doodh Ganga stream. The site is visited for its various meadows which are also beautiful picnic spots. One can visit the valley by undertaking a trek through a trekking route. Valley serves as base for Mount Tatta Kutti and is abound by dense pine trees. Enroute, there are many meadows like Lidder Mar, where one can have a night's halt. Mornings and evenings are very refreshing here. Another enchanting meadow in the area is Hegin, 4 kms from Yusmarg. Surrounded by dense pine trees, the place is a famous picnic spot. Hegin (4 km from Yusmarg) and Lidder Mar meadows are neighboring places of tourist interest.

A serene meadow located in Yousmarg, Tosa Maidan is not only famous as a lush green pasture but for its historical importance as well. Bounded by dense forests, the beautiful ground of Tosa Maidan is situated about 10km from Khag in the mountains of the Himalayan range. This destination brings forth a wonderful amalgamation of nature with history. You’ll reach the attractive grazing land of Tosa Maidan after crossing the upper mountain reaches of Drang, Zakhor and other small villages. It is believed that the huge pastures located here are the ones which the shepherds from the neighboring countries used to visit in the ancient times. Another piece of history related to this place, which is quite fascinating, is that the land was given to the army in the year 1964 to set-up an artillery firing range for a period of 50 years, until 2014.

Horse Riding is one of the main activity or sport that almost every traveller experience while visiting to yousmarg. There are pony walas here too but unlike Gulmarg they are comparatively better. They are constantly behind you for horses. You can go to three points – Doodhganga, Nilnag and Charari Sharief.

Pakharpora Shrine is conducive to flourishing Jammu & Kashmir tourism, as it is thronged by devotees annually during the Urs celebration. Famed as Yusmarg tourist place to visit, the shrine at Pakharpora displays a unique picture with rare trees in the premises that are not found anywhere else in Kashmir. Devotees visit this shrine to seek peace and prosperity in life.

Charar-e-Sharief is located on the way to Yousmarg while going from Srinagar. It is considered to be one of the most ancient shrines in the valley of Jammu & Kashmir. Once you get here you will be mesmerized by the sanctity of this place. Inheriting a 600-year old heritage, this historic shrine attracts a huge number of devotees. Charar-i-Sharief was idealised and built to pay homage to one of the holy saints of Sufism – Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani, who is regarded as the patron saint of Kashmiris. Known as Sahajanand or Nund Reshi, he propounded the significance of Rishism in the valley of Jammu & Kashmir centuries ago. Since then it has been an important part of the culture of this place. After your visit to the shrine stroll across the wonderful famous mohallas here namely Talab-e- Kalan or Gulshanabad among many others.

Nilnag is a beautiful lake located 4 km downhill from Yusmarg. The water of the lake is blue in colour and thus, the lake is named as Nilnag. The lake is connected to the passage, passing through the dense forests. The site is a beautiful picnic spot and a trek of 13 km uphill leads to various beautiful tourist spots. Nilnag Lake, is cradled by hills.
