It has become a cyclist's paradise, around 400 meters of altitude gain in ~7 km of ride, The bikers/cyclists from Bangalore storm there on weekends and holidays. It's a very good hill training spot for them.

  • Tipu's Drop

    Tipu's Drop is one of the notable historical locations in the region, which is a cliff face at an elevation of 600 m. As per historians, the site was the punishing point, from where convicts were pushed down to their death. Located on the hill top, the location provides a beautiful view of the hill ranges. Along with the site, there is a shrine, known as Yoga Nandeeshwara temple built by the Chola Kings.

  • Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple

    The Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple is situated in the village at the foothills of Nandi Hills. The simple Yoga Nandeeshwara Temple on top of the hill is famous for the huge statue of the bull in front of the temple. Not many people know of the other Nandeeshwara temple, a magnificent, large complex housing not one, but three temples in all. The hills are actually five hills which are the sources of five different rivers, namely Palar, Pinakini, Arkavathy, Papagni and Swarnamukhi.
