Jungle camping near Pune or hill Camping near Pune are available. But beautiful river camping site near Pune are fewer in numbers. This river camping at Panchgani is such a place. As Pune distance is only 85 km and Mumbai distance is 250km, this place is also frequented by people looking for Camping near Mumbai. Itinerary / Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrive at Campsite near Pune at Wai

12pm check in – Reach the campsite. Allocation of tents for group. Then Settle down and have your lunch in an open area by 2 PM. Lunch is Veg Buffet lunch.

@2pm – Take some rest and then go for swim in the river with life jackets , build raft and ride it.

Next after taking some rest go for group Boating at local boating club. You can buy tickets there only on spot. Then have your evening tea and snacks. Evening tea is a relaxed moment here at camping site in Panchgani as you can see the setting sun with myriad of colors. You can also try your hands on archery, Air Rifle, Darts etc. Those activities are open to all campers coming to Camp in Panchgani

@7.30pm – Do It Yourself style barbecue and enjoy the snacks at bonfire.

@9pm have your buffet style dinner ( Veg or Non Veg Buffet). Then is the time for Campfire at this beautiful overnight camping site near Pune. You can enjoy campfire till 11.30pm (limited Time) and then you can sleep in your tents or late night star gazing.

Day-2: Enjoy activities, camping and then return to Pune or Mumbai

Start the 2nd and last day of your Panchgani camping in Pune

@8.30am – Break Fast – Tea and Upma/ Pohe Tea. Then for a short period of half hour go for Bullock Cart Ride (max group of 6).

@10am – Visit to strawberry farms, pluck and munch some strawberries, only if you are ready to buy 1 strawberry box of 500gms from your end at an approx. Rs.60/box. 

With this your camping in Pune experience comes to a sweet end. You leave this beautiful river campsite with lots of memories.

Good team, but all of them are too lenient on late comers….we had a great time, but were late by 4 hours at starting point itself and that resulted in our trek to Triund to start late afternoon instead of morning. Otherwise, very friendly n cooperative team and fun to travel with. Packages are quite competitively priced. All the best, will definitely join TDG for another trip in near future.

Panchgani is a gratifying mountain retreat in the Krishna valley. Panchgani has a dulcet weather all through the year and best time to visit Panchgani is after monsoon. The walk ways are thickly canopied by lush trees and vegetation, offers heart-stopping views of the River Krishna on one side and the coastal plains on the other.
