Besieged by beautiful gardens, the gallant Bangalore palace, is a famous tourist attraction in Bangalore. It is now owned by the Mysore Royal family. Chamarajendra Wadiyar bought the original property in 1873 from the principal of Bangalore Central High School, Rev, J Garret, from his personal funds. The main building spreads across 45,000 square feet and it a mixture of Tudor and Scottish Gothic architecture.
