The entry to level 2 is weather dependent but gives u maximum pleasure. There are various activities that u can do there once u reach the spot.                         “Excellent place to visit. I went on mid of may with my family including small kids. I went 1st and 2nd phases, tickets costing 700 and 900. Very long queue, with the help of guide we bypassed all the queue. Guide is mandatory if you are having kids. 2nd phase very beautiful scenic, lots of ice all over the mountains, be caution ice are very slippery while ascending and descending. ”

                        “The ride takes to two places from where beautiful and breathtaking views mesmerise. Gondola ride is divided in two parts……first phase takes to first level , ticket price Rs700/- per person. At first level there are small eateries and a natural spring named seven spring. One.can buy tickets for first level from Gulmarg base but tickets for second level are available on line only for Rs900/- per person. Plan in advance for going to second level which is peak of the mountain where snow can be found all year round. There is always a long que at base station for tickets and area all around is smelly due to ponies and unclean.”

It is said that the shooting for the song ‘Jai Jai shiv shanker, kaanta lage na kankar’ starring Rajesh Khanna and Mumtaz was done at this place. Now, the temple remains open every day from 6 am to 9 pm and aarti is performed twice a day.
