Ambazari Lake in Nagpur

Ambazari Lake is located on the southwest border of Nagpur. It is also one of the most popular and visited lakes out of the 11 lakes present. It is the largest lake in the city and is a home to a variety of flora and fauna. It is a beautiful place to visit and enjoy along with friends and family members. The entire area is managed by the Municipal Corporation of Nagpur. It is spread over an area of 15.4 km.

The lake marks the beginning of the Nag River. The visitors are also provided boating facilities at the lake. Rowboats, as well as self-driven boats, are available for the visitors to enjoy the scenic beauty of the nature surrounding the lake. Beside the Ambazari Lake lies the Ambazari Garden which is famous amongst the children. The garden also comprises of a fountain, electric rides and various amusement games for the kids as well as the elderly to enrich the experience of whosoever visits the place.
