A small pristine lake surrounded with the mountains, valley and a picturesque hamlet in the mystical land of Himachal. The lake with its natural beauty and cultural innocence, nestled at an elevation of 3662 m, surrounded by willow and poplar trees. Nako lake is bounded by 4 Tibetan temples. Close to the temple, there are four caves which are believed to be the meditation site of saint Padmasambhava. These were the caves from where Guru Padmasambhava gave disclosure to his followers. To experience the scenic beauty, boating attracts people from distant places during summer while the frozen lake in winter becomes hub for ice skating.
