The 2.4sq.kms of Nong Nooch are full to bursting with some of the most remarkable flowers, displays and landscaped gardens in Thailand, if not the world. The team behind them have repeatedly won international awards for their designs, which include 17th-century-French-style gardens, a recreation of Stonehenge, creative topiary displays and gardens created exclusively with cacti, bonsais and tropical palms.                         “They have some very beautiful themed gardens, and a couple of different animal shows and a very nice car collection. The Thai cultural show is great as it shows some of the Siam/Burma history with an elephant show afterwards. One really should take a full day to properly see the whole garden.”

                        “We were taken by our guide to Nong Nooch on the way to Pattaya.. Our experience turned out to be an exotic one . The garden is beautiful & the flora and fauna in its best 👍.. One should be there to experience the same …The cultural show was colorful & exotic .. The elephant show too .. As we had gone entourage Pattaya couldn’t cover the whole place .. I would advise to spend a whole day there …”

                        “The pricing was way off i learn from websites it should be 280 thb for thai and 400 for tourist feel my surprise when they wanted to charge me 400 for thai and 800 for tourists big joke nowhere in the world tourist are being charged just for being a tourist but that is thai habbit and beside the point they doubled the price when i hear that i just turn around it is not that i cant pay the 1200 thb but it is just stupid to pay 40$ or 35€ for something that should cost half and valeuwise it is more expancive than in Europe or Usa only salery from staff is way behind compare to the western country i think the only way to stop this habbit from thai is just to turn around and never look back”

                        “Fantastic elephant show, the ride inside the premises which lead you around the place… simply awesome. The cultural show including Thai boxing was one of the many delights and of course the great eating joints!! Also managed to get a look at the Car collection, my son went crazy seeing so many sports cars, SUVs and also a Hummer!!”

                            The largest stone engraving of Buddha in the world looking down on you from the side of limestone hill is a very humbling experience. Etched with a laser into the side of what used to be a resource for the construction industry, the 109-metre-high image was then marked out in gold.                             Wat Phra Khao Yai also-called “Big Buddha” or sometimes Golden Buddha certainly deserves its name, being the biggest in the region at 18 metres in height. Positioned nearly 100 metres above sea level, it watches over Pattaya and Jomtien Beaches. The temple complex around the highly detailed golden seated Buddha creates a reflective mood in its many visitors thanks to its many bells, burning incense, numerous smaller statues and impressive views over the area. The staircase leading up to the temple is quite striking as there are golden dragons running along the entire handrails, and at the foot of the stairs, seven-headed mythical snakes called Nagas emerge from the dragon’s mouths.
