Elevated at 8530 ft. above sea level, the Glory Peak is found 3km away from the Pfutsero town of Nagaland. A breathtaking aerial view of the valleys at its foot enthrals tourists all over. The crown of the peak serves a dual purpose. Tourists can witness gala Naga weddings and other cultural functions on one side whereas the other side provides a spectacular sight of Mt. Everest and Saramati Range, indeed a sight for sore eyes.

The state Govt has built an eco lodge at the base of the peak. Trekking routes are available from here on to the Kapamadzu Peak, the highest table top mountain In Nagaland. Those with a more adventurous streak can make their own routes, take the road less travelled. The weather is pleasant all year round with temperatures circling around 24-25 degrees. It is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway or for a day’s picnic with family and friends.
