Ravangla-Maenam Hill Trek passes through the wildlife sanctuary, hence, guides are mandatory for the entry into the forests. The guides are available at the forest barrack entry near the Ravangla monastery. The 5 hours trek passes through a dense vegetation of the flora of the region, namely the Oak, Hemlock, and Rhododendrons, the amazing diversity in the entire flora of the region is a sight to behold.

The route for the trek may seem hard for occasional trekkers, but for regular trekkers, there is slightly less arduous, but a tad longer another route. The weather of the Hill is really uncertain, as rain may fall anytime, even when it may be sunny. But it is nothing to be worried about, as there is a small hut, a couple of hundred meters before the Peak, which is used by the trekkers for camping. And once you pass through the forest to the peak of the Hill, you would undoubtedly be spellbound by the breathtaking view of the majestic Himalayas.
