Udaipur City Palace towering over the Lake Pichola is one of the architectural marvels of Rajasthan. City Palace is the most visited tourist attraction of Udaipur. It is the largest palace in Rajasthan. It reflects a perfect blend of medieval, European and Chinese Architecture. The palace has balconies, cupolas and towers that give a wonderful view of the lake and the surrounding city.

The complex consists of four major and several minor palaces. The main part of the complex is converted into the City Palace Museum that displays ancient artifacts. The Krishna Vila, Moti Mahal or Pearl Palace, Sheesh Mahal, Bada Mahal, Zenana mahal are some of the other palaces in the complex. Amar Vilas is the highest point of this palace and has wonderful hanging gardens with fountains, towers and terraces. City Palace has also amazing interiors with delicate mirror work and marble work. You can also trace a shrine of Dhuni Mata in the City Palace. The beauty of City palace cannot be bound in words , so one must visit this Palace to capture the real picture of it.
