It is a beautiful waterfalls in the Servarayan hill range in the eastern ghats. It is a 300 feet high waterfalls and is about 3kms from the Yercaud lake.
The final 500 meters consists only of a rough unpaved steep pathway.
But it is a breathtaking sight in the monsoon time when the water levels are at the maximum. The best time to visit this place is immediately after the monsoon season.

                        “One of the attractions in Yercaud is this waterfall. The way to it is narrow for two cars to go side by side freely. After reaching the parking one has to walk almost a kilometer to reach the waterfall. The steps are steep and it can be very tiring while returning. There wasn’t much water in the fall, but during rains, there would be plenty. But still, this is not worth all the effort to go and come is what I think.”

                        “This is the only place you would probably see in Yercaud. It takes around 20-30 mins to trek down to the falls. The place is full of nature and you won’t find it much crowdy!! Shoes would be mandatory for this trek!!”

                        “I think this place is good only in Rainy season. While I was walking down for watching the falls, met couple of guys and asked them, they said it was waste and no water. Also the way is too long. I prefered not to go. Still the surroundings on the way are lush green.”

                        “Falls that’s so exquisite! I have seen many falls but never like this! It’s so lovely to watch Water falling from above our head and passing below our legs without touching us! Reaching falls is indeed difficult but entirely worth that effort. Decent quantity of water flow will be available on Nov-Feb times every year. Route to reach here, will be so narrow that cars and auto can pass but Vans will have tough time. Loved it…. ”

The local tribes had built an arrangement of rocks in four Piles that looked like a pyramid. This made the place to be also called as Pyramid Point. There is a temple located at this place between the piles, which is dedicated to Lord Rama. Tourists can enjoy beautiful views of the town of Salem along with a village known as Karakambadi.
