It is situated on the flat top of the Servarayan Hill. It is a narrow cave temple dedicated to Lord Servarayan and Goddess Kaveri. As it is believed that the temple cave bottom touches river Kavery. Goddess Kaveri is worshipped as the presiding deity by all the villagers in and around this region. The Tribals gather here in thousands to celebrate their Annual Festival in the month of May every Year.

                        “This seemed to the Top point of Yercaud. it was late in the evening and was very cold. Temperature dropped to around 19 Degrees. There were Couple of fun rides as well. Lot of space around for walking, playing. The temple is good and seems like inside a cave. But is very small. Attraction is more towards sceneray spot than temple.”

The final 500 meters consists only of a rough unpaved steep pathway. But it is a breathtaking sight in the monsoon time when the water levels are at the maximum. The best time to visit this place is immediately after the monsoon season.

                            Bear’s Cave is located on the way to the famous Servarayan Temple. Though this cave is now a private property but tourists are allowed to enter. A temple close to the cave is of high religious value and is flocked by tourists all year-round. It is believed that during the time of war, this cave was used as a hideout by Tipu Sultan. If tourists wish, they can try to squeeze past the boulders into the cave and explore it. There is a also huge cave formation beside a coffee estate bungalow, which was considered to be home for the bears.
