It must be a gene. The wanderlust. The experts are arguing that the desire to seek out new places, explore the countryside and cities and discover hidden gems can really be attributed to your genes, but not just one.

That gene is not very common, it is found in few people. The people who are born to travel. They chase that one single dream and have only one excitement i.e. Travelling. The gene of wanderlust is you if you can match the following traits with you —

#1

Remember the time when you just see the maps, look at random routes without any intention to travel. Others may found it weird, but trust us you are perfectly normal.

Moreover, at school apart from studying Geography and really enjoying it, you were always reading National Geographic. And if you have maps on your walls instead of paintings, then you are perfectly normal.

When people tell you that the money you spent on your adventures could have been spent on clothes, a car or even a house, it may be time to end the friendship. They do not understand the investment you made.

You know those things do not lure you anymore. Instead of saving and spending for your travel, you would end up richer than them.

What should I pack for the summer, rain or snow? Where is the packing checklist? Backpack or Rucksack?

Such questions are not for you. The answers are natural to you.

You never need to revise your internal list of what is allowed or not. You just know it all by heart. To the same tune, you are a minimalist because you avoid all that checking in and retrieving heavy baggage.

Recall the time you made first time in the pool. In childhood, when you friends opted out to jumping of the wall. You did not bothered their fear, you dare to face it.

Fly high, all the time. You are born to travel because you are not scared easily.

Coming out of schools, you carried that huge curiosity to know the world, test your learnings. This initiated that bug to scale up your leanings not just through books and classrooms but to migrate, explore and travel.

Migration, exploration and opening new frontiers have been essential to man’s conquest of the planet. If you feel that constant urge to discover new places, faces and food, then you definitely have the travel bug.

Just chatting to people and discovering more about their daily lives is a truly enriching experience. Travelling turns you story teller. No wonder people have friends proportional to the stories they have made.

You are born to travel, if you love to make stories and share them with not just your friends but with stranger to turn them friends.

Planning itineraries, reading guide books and learning what is in store is really a great way to get a high. It is also one of the cheapest and healthiest ways that is known.

Do you feel excited to book your tickets, filtering the itineraries and make the most out of travel, invite friends to join the trip. If yes, you must continue reading.

Indian, Italian, Tibetan or Continental, you are afraid of none. Being a traveller, the most liked thing on destination is its food, and those who are born to travel not afraid to try what they are offered. Do you fit in it?

At the end you are born to travel, if you keep finding the next location to visit. What, Why and How are easy to answer. Your favourite question is Where to next?

Comment the trait that relate to you the most.
