Otherwise called Lal Qila, Fort Rouge or Red Fort of Agra, the Agra Fort is an UNESCO world legacy site. It is arranged at a separation of around 2.5 km north-west of the well known Taj Mahal. The development of the monstrous fortification of red sandstone by the banks of Yamuna waterway was begun by sovereign Akbar. Agra Fort is situated on the correct bank of the waterway Yamuna in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.

It is a standout amongst the most uncommon landmarks worked by the Mughals and it has luxuriously designed structures. It is the ideal case of the Mughal style of workmanship and design and is a standout amongst the most went by traveler spots in Agra. Agra fortress is otherwise called Red post since it is worked with red sandstone. Inside the premises of the fortress lie the most lovely engineering of the Mughals like the Pearl Mosque, Diwan I khas, Diwan I Aam, Moti Masjid and Jahangiri Mahal.
