                        “Great art by the artist in that century ..still its exist well.. the paintings are awesome ..drawn with the natural colors.. if u want to know the real myth, history and speciality of “ajantha cave” ,go with guide .he will explain u better than going just individually . it will be wasting time if you don’t have guide with u.. b’cos he will let u kno the speciality and the story behind each picture and the statues which are there in the caves.. and one more thing ,ask him about the love story of “robert and paro”.., its really interesting. Then don’t forgot to go at view point and the waterfall point.. if you want to fill and see the beauty of “ajantha cave” .. just go to tea point and instead of going by ac/non-ac bus ,go by walk form tea point to the “ajanta cave” ..its really awesome experience .. actually the information i have given above is just a small part to know mor ask to guide or local peoples .Actually my home town is “soygaon” and “ajantha cave” is just 10 km away from me…! so ,enjoy the tour of ajantha cave ..                         “A truly historic place well preserved to certain extent. Make sure to take a MTDC provided Guide with you (charges about 1000INR as of Dec 2015). Else you can request cave maintaining staff to guide you they will do it for small fee of 50Rs per cave. MTDC has made good attempt to save this artifact by providing sunlight via Fiber optic cable to preserve the colors and paintings. Make sure to take a guide with you. ”

                        “One of the best caves in India. Colored paintings in the caves are the best. In rainy season waterfall view is very wonderful. Best time to visit is from July to February. Can be easily reached from Jalgaon. It takes around 1 and half hour from Jalgaon by bus or private cab. ”

The monument’s name translates literally to ‘Tomb of the Lady’, but has earned the nickname ‘poor man’s Taj’ because of its resemblance to the Taj Mahal. It is another fine architecture from Mughal Era, adds to history of Aurangabad.
