The main entrance gate ‘Tadigate ‘ has a temple dedicated to Jaipur rulers and another one dedicated to Rathore prince. Madhavendra Bhawan in the fort is the summer destinations for the royal family. The Palace has boudoirs for the queens. The fort looks brilliant when floodlit at night. The Nahargarh Fort has been the shooting location of the Bollywood movie Rang de Basanti.

                            The Hawa Mahal or the ‘Palace of the Winds’ is one of the most renowned and distinctive landmarks in the Jaipur city of Rajasthan. The Hawa Mahal was built in 1799 by King Sawai Pratap Singh to enable ladies of the royal household to watch and enjoy the life and processions of the city. The main highlight of this unique five-storied palace is its pyramid shape which is also the shape of the crown of Lord Krishna. It’s other main attraction is its 953 windows or ‘Jharokhas’ which are decorated with intricate designs. The Hawa Mahal is built from pink sandstone and this iconic structure serves as a retreat to visitors when viewed completely from outside. The Hawa Mahal images also serve as wallpapers for many desktops. The Hawa Mahal is now under the Archaeological Department of Government of Rajasthan and also houses an archaeological museum in the courtyard. The top offers stunning views of the Jantar Mantar, City Palace, and the Sireh Deori Bazaar.

                            The Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is an astronomical observation site built in the early 18th century. The Jantar Mantar is the largest of the five such magnificent observatories built in India. It was built by Maharaj Jai Singh II in the 1720s who himself was a great scholar in Astronomy. It was used to measure the distances and positions of celestial objects. The Jantar Mantar of Jaipur houses the world’s largest sundial called the ‘Samrat Yantra’. The Jantar Mantar monument consists of 19 large instruments each serving a very specific purpose. It also contains fourteen geometric devices to measure time and track celestial bodies and also observe the planets around the sun. This is the most significant, most comprehensive, and the best preserved of India’s historic observatories. It is an expression of the astronomical skills and cosmological concepts of the court of a scholarly prince at the end of the Mughal period. The Jantar Mantar entry fees are INR 50 for Indians and INR 200 for foreign travelers.

                            Amber Fort is one of the most important tourist destination in Jaipur. This fort is also called as the Amer Palace or the Amer Fort. The Amber Fort and Palace was built from yellow and pink sandstone and white marble and is divided into four major sections, each having its own courtyard. The Amer Fort is about 6 centuries old and was built as a strong, safe haven against the attacking enemies. The paintings, interiors, carvings, precious stones and mirrors make this palace more stunning and magnificent. The main buildings inside the Amber Palace are Diwaan-e-Aam for the public, Sukh Niwaas for king and queens. The Sheesh Mahal of Amber Fort is the most famous and beautiful part of it. Many classic Bollywood movies like Mughal-e-Azam has been shot here. The entrance fee of Amber Fort is INR 10 to INR 550. Elephant Ride costs INR 1100 and the light shows in the Fort charges a nominal amount of INR 100- INR 200. The splendor of the palace is enhanced in the evening when the Palace is lit up.
