Sayaji baug is a garden located on the bank of river is a center of attraction for tourists visiting Vadodara. As the name suggests the garden was built by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad for the people of the city during his era. Sayaji baug/Kamati baug, spread across 45 acres is home to nearly 98 species of trees and so it is full of flora and fauna.

Sayaji Baug is a lot more than a mere garden. It contains two museums, a zoo, a planetarium and play area for kids. The major attractions here are the operational toy train and the flower clock. The toy train gives a ride of 3.5km and allows you to adore the beautiful garden while it takes you around the garden. The flower clock is beautifully designed with various flowers and the machinery placed underground. The zoo and the museum are also a must visit. The garden is surely worth half of your day!
