Hemkund Sahib Trek-The Divine Trek

#Trekking in Valley Of Flowers

Out in the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas and the wild forests of pine and rhododendron lies a beautiful route to Hemkund Sahib. Hemkund Sahib is a Sikh shrine situated on the banks of Hemkund

Lake and marks the place where Guru Govind Singh unified with God after a prolonged meditation in his previous birth. The entire journey is full of wild roses, ferns and alpine flowers blooming all along the route and the surging waters of Lakshman Ganga in its vicinity. The trek starts from Govindghat, which is a 15 km trek and is a gateway to the Bhyundar or Lakshman Ganga Valley. It is an easy trek but requires fitness. The best time to visit is from May to October when you can enjoy solace and tranquility in this mystic landscape.
