**Please note: This is a 3-day trek through the rich sholan rain forests of Talacauvery -Birth place of river Cauvery to summit Nishani Peak followed by a tricky descend to a lesser known Kurudi entering God’s Own Country-Kerala. The trek distance would be around 34 Km. **CAUTION LIMITED SLOTS AVAILIABLE** The trail from Coorg to Kerala starts out in rich shola forests from Bhagmandala Coorg region to reach beautiful typical western ghat grasslands and follows an impressive ridge walk to the summit of Nishani motte and leads you the kerala side. The peak offers a spectacular view of the layers of the Brahmagiri range. This is followed by a stay in the forest at the anti-poaching camp, cooking, camping and fun. This varied combination, makes it a beautiful yet challenging trail. The trail boasts of pristine forests, meadows, ridge walks and a summit. Join us in our pursuit. Itinerary: 29 Sep, Fri Day 0: Start from Namma Bengaluru at around 11 PM, play some games, get to know each other. 30 Sep, Sat Day 1: Reach Bhagmandala a small temple town at the foot hills of the famous triveni sangam, freshen up, have breakfast and start the trek. Summit Nishani motte and descend towards the APC (Anti-poaching camp) around 12 kms. Cooking and stories before we retire for the day. 1st Oct, Sun Day 2: Start our trek towards Kerala (Kurudi), The trek takes us through the lesser known trails of Brahmagiri forests which boasts a reputation of receiving heavy to heaviest rainfall, if not maximum in this region, nevertheless notorious and sometimes hailed as the kingdom of creeping vampires 😛 Leeches and will be through dense jungles, rocks and numerous streams. Possibly many water falls along the way. Around 18 kms of trek. Once soaking in adequate mystical beauty and getting rid of most of the leeches :P, we will catch our vehicle back to bhagmandala bidding adieu to the Indian Scotland. Back at Bhagmandala a cozy stay, and a well-deserved dinner awaits us, followed by games, campfire and loads of our versions of trek experiences to share. Gandhi Jayanti, Mon Day 3: After an exciting trek and a good night sleep, it’s time for exploring the famous temple town Bhagmandala, triveni sangam, interested people can take a dip in Holy waters of river confluence-Cauvery, followed by a visit to the famous Sri Bhagandeshwara temple. On our way, back to B’luru we can explore some more places in Coorg subjected to the availability of time.
