Oboz Hiking Boots # 1) Oboz Sawtooth X Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot – Men’s

oboz hiking boots: Oboz Sawtooth X Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot - Men's by Store Oboz Store

Product Summary:

The Sawtooth X Mid Waterproof is like a supreme pizza for your feet-it has all the fixings. From its mid height for added support to its Adaptive Cushioning Technology midsole for a smooth ride to its B-DRY waterproof and breathable technology, it has it all. Now all that is left to do is dial up your plans for the trail.

A 5-Star Review: I loved the Sawtooth II boots, but I always thought the style could use improvement. I went with these for my next pair and they fit great, are comfortable even while breaking them in, and I think the style on the Sawtooth X is way better than most other Oboz boots.

Oboz Hiking Boots # 2) Oboz Bridger Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot – Men’s

oboz hiking boots: Oboz Bridger Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot - Men's by Store Oboz Store

Product Summary:

The Oboz Bridger Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot is a great choice for your next hike. With a waterproof and breathable membrane, you’ll be able to keep your feet dry no matter the conditions. The mid-height design provides support and stability on uneven terrain, while the cushioned footbed ensures all-day comfort. The tough outsole delivers traction and durability on any trail, making the Bridger Mid B-Dry an essential piece of gear for any serious hiker.

A 5-Star Review: This is my second pair of this brand and model of boot, I might go ahead and buy a third pair to have in reserve.

Everyone has different sized feet but these boots fit my feet including the included insole arch support.

They are pretty durable… What wore out on me with my last pair was the heel but this may be more related to me doing a lot more walking on pavement these last two years vs dirt trails. The uppers have held out very well.

I really like the grip the treads give too. These are my 4 season boots and we get a fair bit of ice and snow for 4-6 months of the year where I live.

A Critical Review: These boots were more comfortable than the 5 I tried from other brands in the same price range, mostly because their sizing is accurate, BUT: The leather doesn’t breathe so well which creates some sweaty socks (not so desirable in colder conditions when back packing – they take time to dry out so I had to rely on fresh socks and camp shoes in the evenings of my trip). Also, after the first day of a 4 day 30 mile adventure, there’s a lot of stitching coming loose. That’s a real big bummer given the price tag of the shoes (see photo). I also put in better/thicker insoles as the supplied ones were way to thin when someone has 60 pounds on their back.
Summary: good comfortable boots, good ergonomics (curved soles), good traction/support, water from shallow streams never got in, QUESTIONABLE build quality given the price. I actually returned the first identical pair when received, because the left boot was off center, the replacement pair were more inline. They’re made in Vietnam, but currently I’m just crossing my fingers they last 2-3 years before falling apart. ☹️
If I was doing a multi week trip, I’d be rolling the dice they didn’t leave me stranded. They’re probably worth about half their asking price.

Oboz Hiking Boots # 3) Oboz Bridger Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot – Women’s

oboz hiking boots: Oboz Bridger Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot - Women's by Store Oboz Store

Product Summary:

The Oboz Bridger Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot is a great choice for your next hike. It features a waterproof and breathable membrane to keep your feet dry, and a cushioned midsole for comfort. The boot also has a TPU shank for stability and a rubber outsole for traction.

A 5-Star Review: I LOVE these hiking boots. I hike/trail walk 6+ miles a day and from day 1 with these boots they have been extremely comfortable (and I have plantar fasciitis so thats saying something). I recently bought Anuh because they were lighter in weight but they are stiff and the insoles are not very comfortable. This is my second pair of Oboz Women’s Bridger B-DRY Hiking Boot and I will continue to buy them. My first pair lasted 3+ years and although the boots still look and feel great they are no longer waterproof so I needed to replace them.

A Critical Review: It is truly a beautiful boot and I really wanted to like it but the pain of wearing this boot is just way too much. The insole feels like there’s a rock in my arch poking up and it is brutal. I could barely wear this boot around the house. The boot opening around the ankle is so stiff that it would definitely cause issues. It was not soft or pliable and having bought literally 40 plus boots, these would never be comfortable. The size/length and width are great, true to size. In a boot, for my liking, while hiking 14er’s in Colorado, this boot will just never be acceptable. Unfortunately I will have to return this boot.

Oboz Hiking Boots # 4) Oboz Sawtooth X Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot – Women’s

oboz hiking boots: Oboz Sawtooth X Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot - Women's by Store Oboz Store

The waterproof and breathable B-Dry membrane keeps your feet dry and comfortable, while the Vibram outsole provides traction and stability on any terrain. A 5-Star Review: These hikers are awesome! Ready to hit the trail as soon as you put them on!

Oboz Hiking Boots # 5) Oboz Sawtooth II Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot – Women’s

oboz hiking boots: Oboz Sawtooth II Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot - Women's by Store Oboz Store

Product Summary:

The Oboz Sawtooth II Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot is a boot that is designed for the women who love to hike. This boot is made to provide comfort, support, and durability on the trail. The boot is made with a waterproof and breathable upper to keep your feet dry and comfortable. The boot also has a EVA midsole for cushioning and a Nylon shank for support. The outsole of the boot is made with a rubber that is designed to provide traction and stability on the trail.

A 5-Star Review: This is my 2nd pair of the Sawtooth. My foot is on the narrow side of B width, with a high arch and narrow heel. I also wear a custom orthotic for tendonitis. I have tried a fair number of other brands and have returned most of them. These boots are softer, but very supportive. No break in time. The last pair of boots that fit this well were Asolo and that was at least 30 years ago.
I wear my Oboz 3 seasons and sometimes into the early winter or early spring with crampons. Hike mostly on foot paths where it can get boggy, trails and some rock- 4-5 days a week. Never had a problem with them not being water proof. Had to retire the old pair because the tread wore down and started to pull away from the sole. Glued it and still wear them for yardwork…mowing etc.

A Critical Review: I love the fit and feel of my Oboz but they are falling apart way too quickly. The boots pictured are 2 months old with less than 150 miles of hiking on them. The rubber toe caps peeled off both shoes in the first month. The boots look much older than they are, and seriously beaten up. I contacted the vender; their response was that they do not warranty “wear & tear”. Do not buy these boots! They do not stand up and the vender does not stand behind the product. By comparison, my previous hiking boots lasted 3 seasons and over 1000 miles before they fell apart.

Oboz Hiking Boots # 6) Oboz Arete Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot – Men’s

oboz hiking boots: Oboz Arete Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot - Men's by Store Oboz Store

Product Summary:

Oboz Arete Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot – Men’s is a tough and durable hiking boot that will keep your feet dry and comfortable on the trail. This boot features a waterproof and breathable B-Dry membrane to keep your feet dry, while the cushioned midsole provides plenty of comfort and support. The Vibram outsole provides excellent traction and stability on any terrain, making this boot a great choice for any hike.

A 5-Star Review: The boot holds up well to continued abuse and daily wear. Does not break down easily. Comfortable and waterproof.

A Critical Review: My son got these for his Outward Bound trip. The first pair, we got to test the boots out for the trip four weeks in advance, immediately resulted in a broken shoelace loops. We returned the pair to get the same boots, because we didn’t have much time to test out another pair, we figured it was just a malfunction, and they were comfortable. Well, the photos show how the boots fell apart once he returned from the trip. The front unglued. I don’t think this is acceptable. I missed my window of return, but since we bought two pairs and had defects with both, I totally don’t recommend these to anyone. I am disappointed with Oboz. I thought they made better products. And these were made in Vietnam not China.

The Oboz Sawtooth II also features a supportive EVA footbed and a cushioned midsole for all-day comfort. For added traction and stability, this boot has a durable rubber outsole with a sawtooth tread pattern.

A 5-Star Review: My wife loves them great fit and comfotable.

A Critical Review: They fit my narrower feet well but my feet hurt, especially my heels after wearing them. They took forever to arrive so I missed the return window. It is a good sturdy sole but wish I could have returned.

Oboz Hiking Boots # 9) Oboz Sawtooth II Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot – Men’s

oboz hiking boots: Oboz Sawtooth II Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot - Men's by Store Oboz Store

Product Summary:

The Oboz Men’s Sawtooth II Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot is a tough and rugged boot that can handle any terrain you throw at it. The waterproof and breathable B-Dry membrane keeps your feet dry and comfortable all day long, while the EVA midsole provides cushioning and support. The Vibram outsole gives you traction and stability on any surface, and the gusseted tongue keeps debris out.

A 5-Star Review: I researched to the hilt for hiking boots and narrowed down to a few different brands/boots. The criteria:

1) Comfort w/ ankle support
2) Waterproof
3) Aggressive tread
4) Durability

Brand:
TXMBXRLXND – Discontinued a Goretex boot. The Pro boots have good waterproofing, tread, and insulation. However, other boots are not as durable with less aggressive thread.
MXRRXLL – Previous boots had a Vibram outsole that wore down quickly. The waterproofing was good but not as comfortable/stable after the tread wore out. The boots had insulation which made my feet sweat and the material not as breathable.
KXXN – Questionable durability, outsole wore down quickly.
CXLUMBXA – Previous boots had no waterproofing (even tho they are labeled as “WATERPROOF”) The boots were decently comfortable and surprisingly the tread lasted longer than expected. These boots are insulated but did not keep feet warm due to lack of waterproofing.

The Oboz Sawtooth II MID B-Dry Hiking Boots seemed to meet the criteria. Oboz is a brand, typically available at shops specializing in outdoor equipment. The boots feature Oboz’s Mid-B Dry, aggressive tread, with both comfort and ankle support. After receiving the boots, I also came across the Oboze Arete which looked attractive with more ankle support. However, after talking to support at Oboz, The Sawtooth kept my interest.

I started wearing the boots now that the weather is getting colder and my concern about comfort is tossed out the windows. The boots are stable with good ankle support. They appear to be well made with aggressive tread and look good as well. The toe box is spacious with ample space. Breathability is fine as well. I want to see how well the waterproofing works. Although, the boots are not insulated, if waterproofing is good, my feet should stay warm enough.

A Critical Review: After my first 8 day trek, I got home and put them on the boot dryer. I have done this with all of my boots. Not these!!! After an overnight on the dryer the inside membrane shrank, just a wee bit. This was enough to create all sorts of foot issues on my next 26 miler.

Oboz Hiking Boots # 10) Oboz Bozeman Mid Leather Hiking Boot – Women’s

oboz hiking boots: Oboz Bozeman Mid Leather Hiking Boot - Women's by Store Oboz Store

Product Summary:

Ready to take on any adventure, the Oboz Bozeman Mid Leather Hiking Boot is built for comfort, stability, and style. The Vibram outsole provides grippy traction on any terrain, making the Bozeman Mid the perfect boot for any hike, whether it’s a short jaunt or a multi-day trek.

A 5-Star Review: I bought these shoes for hiking in Yosemite on vacation. I ended up loving them SO MUCH! They were comfortable, handled the trails well, and did not rub blisters on my feet even after two full days of hiking. I ended up continuing to wear them simply because I loved the shoe so much!

A Critical Review: Started falling apart on the first wear. Also lacking support and caused horrible blisters.

Oboz Hiking Boots # 11) Oboz Bozeman Mid Leather B-Dry Hiking Boot – Men’s

oboz hiking boots: Oboz Bozeman Mid Leather B-Dry Hiking Boot - Men's by Store Oboz Store

Product Summary:

Oboz Bozeman Mid Leather B-Dry Hiking Boot – Men’s is a top quality hiking boot that is both comfortable and stylish. It is made with a waterproof leather upper and a breathable mesh lining to keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long. The boot also has a cushioned EVA midsole and a rubber outsole for traction and support.

A 5-Star Review: I’ve had a few Oboz shoes and they’ve generally been great. These are more on the casual side compared to the stiff, burly hikers like Bridgers. These fit the bill for a comfortable leather boot that is good looking and not too sporty or technical looking so they pair well with office casual so you can wear them to the office especially in winter when you want something for when its wet or snowy outside. And they also are decent hikers for getting out on easier hikes.

Fit: They have a more relaxed fit with more roomy toe box than other Oboz. In bridgers I need to get wide sizes even though I have D width feet, but the standard width on these are plenty wide. They do run a bit short like other Oboz though so recommend going up a half size. My size is 13-13.5 and these fit great for me in 14. I really like the lacing system they used (I hate speed lace hooks so glad these have loops and eyelets) and you can cinch down really well and customize your fit easily.

Comfort: They did take some breaking in. Initially I had some areas on the top of my foot and ankle that were uncomfortable, but after about 5 or 6 wears they became very comfortable. I found wearing them with the laces loose helped break them in well.

Support: One of my favorite things about Oboz is they actually come with well designed insoles that stabilize the heel and have good arch support. They are one of the few brands I don’t have to replace the insoles on. The support for the arch etc. is very good, solid but with some give, not super rigid. Again, the support is more relaxed compared to Oboz’s more heavy duty hikers. Good ankle support too and the lacing system makes it easy to dial that up or down.

Tread/Grip: The tread pattern gives good traction on wet and dry ground, and on packed dirt/gravel trails. Pretty good on snow too. On ice it does OK… about as good as you can expect from a non-winter specific rubber. The tread is a bit closely spaced so in muddy conditions, it can get packed in with mud pretty bad.

Waterproofness: This is one area where the boots are a bit lacking. When wearing in wet or snowy conditions I did get some water inside. Not a lot but enough to be a bit annoying. Not sure if that was the membrane leaking or just poor breathability. Also the leather got saturated pretty fast in wet conditions. This improved after treating with Niwax.

Overall these are really nice boots with a few minor downsides. If looking for something you can wear to work and then hit a trail without changing, these do well.

Oboz Hiking Boots # 12) Oboz Women’s Sapphire 8″ Insulated B-DRY Waterproof Hiking Boot

oboz hiking boots: Oboz Women's Sapphire 8

Product Summary:

The Oboz Women’s Sapphire 8″ Insulated B-DRY Waterproof Hiking Boot is a boot made for the winter hiker. It is insulated with 200 grams of Thinsulate to keep your feet warm, and has a waterproof B-DRY membrane to keep your feet dry. The boot has a 8″ shaft and a Vibram outsole for traction and durability.

A 5-Star Review: These hiking boots are phenomenal …..bought them for the winter in western New York hiking and they performed exactly as I hoped for there are no issues with very little breaking in.

A Critical Review: This probably could be a good boot, but it definitely will cause your ankle to turn in. So if you have any sorts of issues with that, do not buy this boot! You definitely will not roll out though – lots of support on the outside of the foot. Though convenient, I suspect it has something to do with the zipper on the inside comprising the structure near the inside of the ankle. It’s easy to see after a couple long hikes why this isn’t a popular boot. I LOVE my Oboz sawtooths but unfortunately haven’t seen those in insulated for women or a size small enough for me to wear. I have ordered some Bridgers – hoping there is more balance and support in those. Definitely don’t waste your money on this style. Way way wayyyyy too expensive for the experience if you are a more serious hiker. These will end up being raking or shoveling shoes. :/ if the bridgers also aren’t good, I may have to check out other brands for winter hiking. The sawtooth style was a big win/game changer for me, hoping for more of the same experience from Oboz moving forward.

Oboz Hiking Boots # 13) Oboz Women’s Bridger Premium Mid B-DRY Waterproof Hiking Boot

oboz hiking boots: Oboz Women's Bridger Premium Mid B-DRY Waterproof Hiking Boot by Store Oboz Store

Product Summary:

The Oboz Women’s Bridger Premium Mid B-DRY Waterproof Hiking Boot is a top-of-the-line hiking boot that offers both style and function. It features a waterproof, breathable upper that protects your feet from the elements, while the mid-cut design provides support and stability on uneven terrain. The cushioned insole and EVA midsole offer comfort and cushioning, and the Vibram outsole provides traction and stability on any surface. Whether you’re hitting the trails or just exploring the great outdoors, the Oboz Women’s Bridger Premium Mid B-DRY Waterproof Hiking Boot is a great choice for any adventure.

A 5-Star Review: I typically wear a Size 8 in hiking boots/running shoes. My other pairs of Oboz (Sawtooth versions) I purchased in a Size 8, so I took a chance and ordered an 8 in these too. I should have listened to the other reviewers suggesting to go up a 1/2 size (or even a whole size). I was going to order the 8.5, but of course, the same seller wanted more for that size. No way was I going to pay that inflated amount just to get the next size boot. Luckily they had a 9 for the same price I paid for the 8…so I ordered them. They just arrived…in an Oboz box marked DEFECTIVE…and the boots were clearly WORN by someone else OUTDOORS. See the photo comparing the soles of the 8 (left) and 9 (right). You can clearly tell the size 9 boots were worn…maybe just a little jaunt outdoors, but worn nonetheless. I am miffed the seller didn’t disclose what is DEFECTIVE about this pair. The last thing I need is to go for a hike and get injured if the boot is faulty. Ticks me off they charged FULL PRICE for a boot marked defective, but was also worn. It’s hard to find this boot in stock elsewhere in the size(s) I need, so I may keep them…but will be asking for a partial refund/discount. If I can find the boot elsewhere (and in NEW condition) for the same price, I will return these. Sucks that sellers think they can screw over buyers. The defect should have been disclosed and the price dropped to reflect such.
Aside from that, the boots are super comfortable and the 9 is a much better fit than the 8…leaves enough space for my toes to not hit the front of the boot when going downhill. The 9 is also a tad bit wider than the 8, leaving room for foot swelling on long hikes. The boot comes with 2 pairs of shoelaces, orange and brown…and the color is beautiful. I have owned Keens and Merrells, but Oboz have become my go-to hiking boots. I wish this boot came in other colors.

A Critical Review: I LOVE Oboz shoes & boots. This is my third pair and I heavily regret buying them. I doubt they’ll take them back since I’ve worn them outside several times and thrown away the box. If you are considering these, at least get a half size larger or a whole size if halves are not available. Don’t be fooled into thinking you’re getting super sweet leather as the picture shows – it is not worth the big jump in price. Also, consider buying some other laces. Laces on my last Oboz boots were fine, but these are so short it’s difficult to get them tied. They came with a second pair of laces and those were also too short. These hurt my feet and I feel like I wasted money.

Oboz Hiking Boots # 14) Oboz Bozeman Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot – Men’s

Oboz Bozeman Mid B-Dry

Product Summary:

Whether you’re hiking in the backcountry or taking a walk around the block, the Oboz Men’s Bozeman Mid B-Dry Hiking Boot will keep your feet dry and comfortable. The leather and mesh upper is tough enough to stand up to the elements, and the B-Dry waterproof membrane will keep your feet dry when the trail gets wet. The cushioned EVA midsole provides all-day comfort, and the Vibram outsole offers traction and stability on any surface.

A 5-Star Review: I am really pleased with these boots. I purchased them as a, I’m new to Montana starter kit along with a Patagonia puffy and I couldn’t be more happy. I fit right in at the local coffee shop.

No seriously they are pretty nice I like the look and the fit. I have messed up feet. (Broke both heels in 2018) these work really well.

A Critical Review: These are very comfortable shoes. I have a couple of complaints; first off, they are hard to get on and off. This would be easier if they had quick lace eyelets. I have to unlace to put these shoes on. Another thing is that the soles are very slippery when walking on wet rocks and even damp concrete; I have slipped many times while wearing these Oboz. But with that said, these are very comfortable shoes

A 5-Star Review: Ordered for my wife for Christmas. She opened the box and was so disappointed that on top of one boot, there was a crease and defective sewing. We returned the boots for another pair. Not sure we’ll buy another pair of this brand if their quality control is this poor. Nice looking boots, we’d love to become repeat customers, but after this bad first impression, not sure what will happen.

Oboz Hiking Boots # 18) Oboz Women’s Juniper 8″ Insulated B-DRY Waterproof Hiking Boot

Oboz Women's Juniper 8

Product Summary:

The Oboz Women’s Juniper 8″ Insulated B-DRY Waterproof Hiking Boot is the perfect choice for your next hike. The Oboz Natural Fit system provides a comfortable, custom fit, and the Vibram outsole with Megagrip rubber compound offers great traction and stability on any terrain.

A 5-Star Review: I take my dog hiking every day. These boots are a game changer. The area we hike in gets very muddy. In the wintertime, it was snowy and cold. These boots made it great to head out, even in the worst weather. They kept my feet toasty warm and dry. Now when I see a puddle, I just stomp right through – bonus: feeling like a little kid again! They are also cute enough to be worn out and about during cold winter months. I did see some reviews about the zippers coming open. That does happen if you don’t zip them all the way to the top. If you do, they stay up quite well. But even at half mast, there is a webbing inside the zipper to help keep out the elements. Either way, I still highly recommend.

A Critical Review: So I settled for these because the ones I really wanted were out of stock. I should have known better when I saw it had a zipper. A zipper is fine from car to house or to run errands. But for a boot that you expect to be functional out in the snow these are not it. I was sledding with my granddaughter for an hour before my feet got cold. Maybe they’d be better on a hike cuz you’re exerting more energy. But still a zipper has no place on a serious winter hiking boot. It’s just something that will eventually malfunction and also let water in.. so if you’re looking for a casual around town boot they’re fine. If you’re looking for something you wanna be outside in for awhile expecting to keep you warm I’d look elsewhere.

A 5-Star Review: Fits perfect. Has medium arch support, no slipping on heel. Only thing is could use a little more cushion on bottom.

A Critical Review: They are not as comfortable as I thought they would be for the price. We’ll see when I hike half dome but so far my feet start hurting after a 1/2 hour on my training hikes I expected way more for the cost.

Hiked 1:2 dome they worked great on Rocky surfaces, but I added a sole insert bcs they are so thin on the bottom.

From the inside out Р200g of Primaloft Bio̢ insulation and B-DRY waterproofing Рthe Sphinx Pull-On is ready for ice-laden mountain towns. Featuring waterproof oiled nubuck, a water-resistant medial zipper, recycled components, and a Vibram Arctic Grip A.T. sole made of Vibram XS Trek.

A 5-Star Review: I did 3 weeks of sometimes obsessive internet research to find a boot with all the features I wanted. I ultimately settled on this one as it is waterproof, has a vibram arctic grip sole to protect against slipping/falling, light weight (this is how they feel to me), semi-slip on and well insulated… and came up with Oboz sphinx. Oboz recommends you go a half size up from your regular size…I am a women’s 9 W and often go for a men’s size 7 — always do this with my Merrell boots and clogs. So I ordered size 9 1/2. Size 9 would have been too small. The 9 1/2 fits well with a fairly thin sock. They would be too snug with a thick wool sock. Truth be told I was initially looking for something shearling lined so I could wear them barefoot. I’ve been wearing them for my daily walks and they are extremely comfortable..so much so that I don’t mind wearing socks. My feet are nice and toasty at all times. These anti-slip boots rock! (of course, not literally).

A Critical Review: The boot is beautiful and well made and WOULD be comfortable if it wasn’t so tight across the top of my foot. Hard to say if it would give over time. My other Oboz did not give after much wear and they are in the top
3 most comfortable shoes I own. Sadly had to return and looking at a different brand.

Oboz Hiking Boots # 23) Oboz Andesite Mid Insulated B-Dry Hiking Boot – Men’s

Oboz Andesite Mid Insulated B-Dry

Product Summary:

If you’re looking for a tough and comfortable hiking boot for your next outdoor adventure, look no further than the Oboz Andesite Mid Insulated B-Dry Hiking Boot. This boot is specifically designed for backpacking and hiking, with a waterproof and breathable B-Dry membrane to keep your feet dry and comfortable. It also features a supportive and cushioned EVA midsole, as well as a tough and durable Vibram outsole. Plus, the Andesite is insulated with 200g of 3M Thinsulate to keep your feet warm in colder temperatures.

A 5-Star Review: Fot as described. Comfortable, warm and water proof. I’m on cement 10 hours a day. These boots hold up well.

A Critical Review: How does Vibram get away with advertising their “Arctic Grip” sole as non-slip on ice (“wet ice” to boot, no pun intended)? I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that they have been sued repeatedly by peeps who have slipped on ice thinking these soles actually work and hurt themselves – complete BS! Another thing, while these boots are somewhat insulated and have an inner waterproof layer, the leather material is not smooth or treated, and therefore absorbs water, which, as it evaporates, cools the boot which = cold feet.

Oboz Hiking Boots # 24) Oboz Men’s Arete Mid Hiking Boot

Oboz Men's Arete Mid

Product Summary:

The Oboz Men’s Arete Mid Hiking Boot is a great choice for your next hike. With a waterproof and breathable upper, this boot will keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long. The mid-cut design provides support and stability on uneven terrain, and the Vibram outsole offers excellent traction and durability.

A 5-Star Review: If your hiking involves water crossing these are really good because they let the water out, (however one thing I noticed was when they are wet everyday for 2 straight weeks and you walked about 120 miles the inserts can start to move and form into a different shape which is uncomfortable because it’s a plastic like material for your arch) now if you have to swim in your boots I definitely recommend because they float pretty well too. Overall a really good hiking boot

Oboz Hiking Boots # 25) Oboz Bozeman Mid Leather Hiking Boot – Men’s

A 5-Star Review: I’ve been wearing Oboz for years ; as expected – these are fantastic👍🏼
I usually wear a size 10 in Nikes & other Oboz shoes . I ordered these in my go to size – they fit perfectly.
If you’re an Oboz fan , you’re likely aware that their insoles can be a bit too hard . That’s not the case with these , they’re out of the box , wear them everyday comfortable. I ordered the charcoal grey , they are exactly as pictured. Absolutely NO buyers remorse here – I frickin love these shoes !

A Critical Review: Material is not good, they are scratched by any element, it requires a lot of care.

A 5-Star Review: Love the shoe but runs small and narrow, it does not come in wide. If you have wide feet this is not the shoe for you.

Oboz Hiking Boots # 27) Oboz Women’s Juniper 6″ Insulated B-DRY Waterproof Hiking Boot

Oboz Women's Juniper 6

Product Summary:

The Oboz Women‘s Juniper 6 Insulated BDRY Waterproof Hiking Boot is the perfect boot for your next hike. With a waterproof and breathable BDRY membrane, 200 grams of insulation, and a durable outsole, this boot will keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long.

A 5-Star Review: I bought these as a gift for my cousin so she could have a boot that will work for everyday wear and she absolutely loves them! They keep her feet warm enough when outside shoveling and walking around so she doesn’t have to wear her big bulky winter boots, or her sneakers everywhere. They are super cute and get the job done. Well made. My favorite hiking shoes are oboz which is why I went with this shoe, and she couldn’t be happier. She has thin feet and they fit her great and she said they are very comfortable. Her feet sweat in her other big winter boots and she said that she doesn’t have that problem at all with these!

A Critical Review: These hikers are identical to the ones that I used for the past two years (and wore out). They are incredibly warm and have great traction. However, there is a hard spot on the inside of the left boot that has caused bruising and pain on my ankle–to the point where I can’t wear the boots. Never happened with the previous pair, so I suspect it’s a quality control issue. It didn’t appear until I’d worn the boots a few times, so returning is not an option. ;-(

Conclusion:

Oboz has been making quality hiking boots for over 25 years and they show no signs of slowing down. Their latest line of boots, the Bridger Mid, is a great example of why they are one of the best in the business. With a comfortable fit, great traction, and a waterproof liner, the Bridger Mid is a boot that will keep you comfortable and safe on the trail.
