A 5-Star Review: So this vest is pretty snug but fits my body type perfectly. I’m 6’1″ and weigh 193 lbs with an athletic and toned build but also a small belly. The belly is where this vest is tight so if you have any kind of belly past mine you might want to consider that.
I really like how mobile this vest is for the upper body. It will be excellent for boating and lake activities.
A Critical Review: Product looks like a good quality vest for the price. However, I don’t understand why company’s go thru the work of providing a sizing chart before purchase if their own information in conjunction with the product is incorrect. I ordered a 2XL which according to their chart would fit based on chest and waist measurements. They are definitely off by at least one size and maybe closer to two sizes. Get your sizing right otherwise we are just wasting one another’s time.

A 5-Star Review: Runs small. I measured myself before ordering, to get the proper fit. It states a chest up to 40” would be a medium size. The Med was too tight. I’m shipping the Medium back. When I ordered, I bought a Med and a Lg. Still waiting on the large to arrive. Hope that size works. I’d say if your chest measurement is 36” or less, the Medium would fit. With a 37” chest, it’s too tight.

A Critical Review: The “Child” size life jacket was way too small for my son who weighs 50 lbs and just turned 6 years old. I needed an extra 2-3 inches of width to zip up. There was no chest size provided for the “Child” size so I thought the weight range of 35-55 lbs should fit. I am going to try same O’Brien neoprene jacket in “Youth” size (55-88 lbs). I read on another website that the Youth size is for chests measuring 25-29 inches.

A Critical Review: This is a well made vest with adjustable straps. These do run pretty small, however. I’m 5′ 10″, 190 lbs, with 42″ chest. I bought the size Large, which is supposed to fit up to a size 44, but it was so small, I couldn’t even get one strap buckled (yes, I made sure that the straps were let all the way out). I had to return it and re-purchase this in a XL, which fits me comfortably, although the XL says it fits size 44-48.
