Adidas hiking boots are some of the most popular and well-reviewed hiking boots on the market. They offer a great mix of features, including water resistance, good traction, and comfortable padding. Some of the newer models even come with a built-in GPS tracker, so you can always know where you are on the trail.

No matter what kind of hiker you are, Adidas has a boot that will fit your needs. If you’re someone who likes to go light and fast on your hikes, check out the Adidas Terrex Fast R GTX shoes. For those who need a little more support on their hike, take a look at the Adidas Ax2 CP Boots. And for those who want maximum comfort and protection from the elements, try the Adidas Climaproof Boots.

No matter what model you choose, you can be confident that your Adidas hiking boots will help you tackle any trail.

Adidas Hiking Boots # 1) Adidas outdoor Men’s Terrex Ax3 Hiking Boot

Adidas Hiking Boots: adidas outdoor Men's Terrex Ax3 Hiking Boot by Brand: adidas outdoor

A 5-Star Review: I’ve been wearing a lightweight tennis shoe for work for the past 6 months. So putting these on were much heavier than those, but much lighter than work boots. My first day wearing them I did 160 home deliveries in a thunderstorm/flood advisory that lasted all day, stepping through some pretty large puddles and walked across many mushy/muddy lawns. Then with the bottoms wet, walking onto a stainless steel floor of a truck. The soles gripped well on rocks, gravel, sidewalk, stamped concrete, asphalt, wet trex & wooden porches and even wet stainless steel. Never slipped. Never got my socks wet. Even on a 92 degree day, my feet didn’t sweat much. I look forward to taking these hiking on my vacation in 2 weeks, I’ll update afterward.

*Update* 12/22/2020
The camping/hiking trip in September 2020 went well. Hiking through mountains and waterfalls my feet stayed dry and gripped well. They arent waterproof, but they have a good balance of water resistance vs mesh to avoid sweat.

Unfortunately I walk around 13 miles/day. I. Purchased these shoes in September 2020. They are coming apart now but after much heavy use. I’ve walked around 936 miles in 3 months at work alone. 13miles/day, 6 days/week/3months. These shoes should last the average person years to come.

A Critical Review: I love my Adidas AX2 but they’re wearing out. Figured I’d get these AX3s as a replacement. My US11.5 AX2s fit like they were custom made – and lasted forever! But the AX3s in US11.5 are easily 1/2 size small – look at them side-by-side and the difference is quite obvious. My AX2s were made in China and the AX3s are made in Vietnam; I have no idea if this has anything to do with the sizing mismatch.

I’m not sure what’s up with Adidas these days. Part of what I like about the brand beside durability is the true-to-size attribute throughout their line. A US11.5 Adidas shoe has ALWAYS been my size, back to when I played tennis in my trusty Adidas Barricades. Lately, you’ll see many comments about how they now run small.

Adidas Hiking Boots # 2) Adidas outdoor Men’s Terrex AX3 Hiking Boot, Black/White/Acid Yellow, 10

A 5-Star Review: I have these same shoes with slight variation from two years ago, The new ones have more support/ reinforcement on the outer toe which failed on the first pair. I still got more than I expected out of the first pair. The new pair required no break in an will be my go to walking shoes.

A Critical Review: Este modelo es más cerrado de la punta y la banda de caucho no es para nada cómoda por lo q se siente muy ajustada en los dedos deberían considerar a las personas que tenemos la punta de los pies más anchos.

A 5-Star Review: Hi! I used to be a huge fan of Merrell hiking shoes. I bought a pair of Merrell hiking shoes a few monts ago and I was so dissapointed on how uncomfortable they are now. Searching alternatives I came across Adidas Terrex shoes. I saw a few YouTube reviews about these shoes and went ahead to order this style. I have to say, these are excellent hiking/trekking shoes! I’m training for a very long trek on the Himalayas. I’m training trekking and hiking up to 28kms. Is not easy. And these shoes have been so good, my feet don’t hurt after such long trainings. They don’t slip and the sole is very sturdy. This style is water resistant, but not waterproof.
*Only one con that I find: they run big. My friends also bought other styles of Terrex and they had to return them due to bigger sizing.

A Critical Review: I got these for work because I work on the golf course where there is mildew every morning and the tips of my socks have been wet and since I’ve worn them I guessing I can’t return them so I had to go out a buy another pair of work shoes that are 100% waterproof. Other than that the shoes are great but my priority was keeping my feet dry.

Adidas Hiking Boots # 4) Adidas Outdoor Men’s Terrex Eastrail GTX Hiking Boot

Adidas Hiking Boots: adidas Outdoor Men's Terrex Eastrail GTX Hiking Boot by Brand: adidas outdoor

This boot is made with a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex membrane, which will keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long. A 5-Star Review: I ordered and returned 3 other pair of adidas shoes and almost gave up. My size finally became available in this shoe, so I decided to order them, not expecting much. Wow! They are so comfortable and look great. Ordering a 2nd pair to have on hand after I wear these out!

A Critical Review: I had the prior version of this same shoe and I loved it. This version is shallow (footbed seems higher which makes for heel slip) and they run small. My first pair was an 8.5, second pair was a 9 and fit great this pair is a 9 and is smaller than the 8.5 in the toe box. I should have got a 9.5 and I have never bought shoes that size at 40 years old.

Adidas Hiking Boots # 5) Adidas outdoor Women’s Terrex Ax3 Hiking Boot

Adidas Hiking Boots: adidas outdoor Women's Terrex Ax3 Hiking Boot by Brand: adidas outdoor

Product Summary: These women’s Terrex hiking shoes from adidas won’t weigh you down. They have a mesh and synthetic upper with a TPU toe cap for protection against rocks and trail debris. A lightweight midsole cushions every step as you weave your way up the mountain. The Continental Rubber outsole offers secure grip on rugged, uneven terrain.

A 5-Star Review: I bought these for hiking in Italy for a summer vacation. I wanted something relatively lightweight and breathable. I did not break these in (not the smartest decision on my part) and yet they managed not to give me any blisters on a 7 mile hike the first time wearing them! I also will note that while they do not mention being waterproof, it ended up raining heavily on one of our hikes and while we managed to find shelter and points, we were definitely trekking in the rain for a bit. My feet didn’t get that wet! Surprisingly good shoes. They are a bit stiff but the soles have good grip and they feel durable.

A Critical Review: After putting over 18 miles in 3 days on these shoes I will give my honest opinion. I have been having heel pain for months now. I was very excited at the reviews for these shoes, as people stated they were great for that. I did not have the same luck. After 5 miles my heels were super sore. The next day, I added some quality shoe inserts and it was better. I am still not 100% fan of the shoes but I do enjoy the grip they have for steep trails.

Adidas Hiking Boots # 6) Adidas Men’s Terrex Free Hiker Hiking Boot

Adidas Hiking Boots: adidas Men's Terrex Free Hiker Hiking Boot by Store adidas Store

Product Summary: The Adidas Men‘s Terrex Free Hiker Hiking Boot is a boot designed for hiking and outdoor activities. It is made with a comfortable fit in mind and features a waterproof and breathable upper. The boot also has a cushioned midsole and a traction outsole for stability and grip on various surfaces.

A 5-Star Review: Love these shoes. They do need to be broken in. They were a tad bit tight in the ankles but that went away after a couple hikes. Amazon had these shoes listed as men’s, but I got my normal size 6 in women’s and they fit as usual. No need to size up or down.

A Critical Review: I love Adidas, I own a ton of their items. However, this was the first and only one to not live up. While the item is fairly waterproof/resistant, it never felt like a true work horse for me. I needed something for work where I’d be spending time in the jungle, the ankle support was non-existent which posed a challenge on wet rocks. Additionally, I did find that the grip compared to nothing next to my my North Face Hiking shoes. Due to this lesser quality build, I only used my Adidas on days off where it didn’t demand too much work. I’ll continue to support the brand and I’ll put the shoe to work… but there are better options elsewhere.

Adidas Hiking Boots # 7) Adidas Women’s Terrex Folgian Hiker Hiking Boot

The Terrex bounce hiker w women’s hiking boot is made with a durable and flexible construction that will make your hike more enjoyable. A 5-Star Review: There is a good amount of support but material is very stiff and rough. It may be good for some people but just not for me.

Adidas Hiking Boots # 8) Adidas Men’s Terrex Pathmaker Cp Hiking Boot

Adidas Hiking Boots: adidas Men's Terrex Pathmaker Cp Hiking Boot by Store adidas Store

Product Summary: The Adidas Men‘s Terrex Pathmaker Cp Hiking Boot is a great choice for those who love to hike. With a comfortable fit and great support, this boot will help you tackle any terrain. The Pathmaker also has a waterproof and breathable membrane to keep your feet dry, even when the weather is not cooperating.

A 5-Star Review: Wanted the brown ones but after seeing they were like finding a victoria secret model on the strip I went with these for half the price. I’m so glad because they are just as good or better than my barra boots. Over all nice and high quality.

A Critical Review: Buyer beware. Based on pictures I’ve found online and receiving these in person, I’m almost positive that these aren’t authentic. On the side of the boot that says “Rain rdy” the actual boots shown on adidas.com says “climaproof.” That said, they seem to be good enough for light hikes and because of Covid-19 I won’t be going out of my way to return these.

If you have arch support issues, these boots may be problematic for you because they don’t have any. I will be purchasing an insole to add some comfort. They do have nice traction and ankle support and comfort.

A 5-Star Review: Super comfy, great deal when we bought them, they fit my husband’s wide size 15 feet just fine and look good for a general warm boot shoe… The white is Styrofoam though so thats strange up close but overall good purchase

A Critical Review: Fit true to size but not a true D or m on my size 13 like all my other Adidas shoes

Women's Terrex Free Hiker Hiking Boot

Product Summary: The adidas women’s outdoor shoes are perfect for any outdoor activity. They are made with a durable and weather-resistant material, so you can be sure that you will be able to use them for years to come.

A 5-Star Review: Ok, I had to admit. At first I could not wear these shoes because they were EXTREMELY tight around the ankles. I was disappointed because I loved the quirky look of them. Now, don’t laugh-I put circular Tupperware containers in the shoe to “stretch” the tight opening of the shoes and now I can wear them. I wore them everyday for a week hiking in Arizona and they were perfect. They even prevented me from rolling my ankle a few times on the elevated climbs. I would like to mention that I have normal sized ankles.

A Critical Review: Comfortable and fit well but the quality is questionable, they tore on the inner seam after 2 uses!

A 5-Star Review: The tongue is part of the shoe, probably to keep it waterproof. Makes for some awkward folds but it hasn’t hurt yet. They are very roomy which will be great for bulky socks and dog walking when it’s rainy or even lightly snowing. They are also warm. Too warm for hot days.

A 5-Star Review: Fit perfect and very pleased with shoes. Very comfortable!!

A Critical Review: Liked the fit, look and utility. Only lasted near a year. We do have rainy seasons and my intention was to have them as weather protecting shoes. I would not buy them again knowing they are good for a year. The sole started to get off.
