A 5-Star Review: The shoes are pretty good but the shoe laces could be better unless you double knot them they will not stay tied

A Critical Review: Tread and soles and material seemed of good quality. Shoes were not as wide as expected.

A 5-Star Review: 99% of the time I’m a size 9..I read through the reviews and wasn’t sure if I should size up or not. The only shoes I ever did that for was my Nike free run 5 where I ended up getting a size 10. So being a prime member, love the free returns, I bought 9 & 9.5.

I’ll be going with the 9.5. I feel the slightest amount of pressure, and my big toe against the top of the boot in the size 9. I think that extra bit of room will make it better for the week long camping we’ll be doing in Iceland. And Yes the shoe is very stylish in person!! Will update my other review once my trip is taken (may 2017) to update on the performance.

Updated after trip:: Amazing pair of boots. No time needed to break in. However sometimes it does rub against one of my ankles…definitely wear high socks. Overall still very happy with the quality, style, and price, especially as I am only a moderate hiker. I’d purchase again.

A Critical Review: It’s a pretty heavy boot and can probably withstand a lot, but it’s also pretty uncomfortable. after a few hours, i couldn’t stand hiking in them anymore or nevertheless, walk in them. There seems to be very little feet support and probably a lot of breaking in needed, which wasn’t something I expected from the reviews I read. On the plus side, it went through mud, water, and those features did work well indeed.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 3) Columbia Women’s Newton Ridge Plus Hiking Shoe

columbia hiking shoes: Columbia Women's Newton Ridge Plus Hiking Shoe by Store Columbia Store

Product Summary: The Columbia Women‘s Newton Ridge Plus Hiking Shoe is a great choice for your next hike. With a comfortable, breathable design and a rugged outsole, this shoe will keep you comfortable on the trail. The waterproof construction will keep your feet dry in wet conditions, and the padded collar and tongue will provide support and protection.

A 5-Star Review: Let me start out with: THESE ARE AMAZING BOOTS and YOU CAN’T GO WRONG WITH THESE BOOTS. These boots held up against all different types of climates and weather and water on my road trip and they still look great! We went to Arizona, Utah, Nevada; the Grand Canyon, Joshua Tree, Zion, Salt Lake. We went through water, dessert, rain, and mud, and these boots held it fine. The only thing we didn’t go through was snow, because apparently even though we Californians were freezing our butts off already, the locals said the weather was actually great, and that the colder weather and storms were actually late this year xD.
Anyways, these boots were extremely lightweight and required almost no breaking in. My friend had some HiTech hiking boots and she said these Columbia boots were a lot lighter than hers. They were so extremely comfortable and easy to walk in. The size fits as expected if you go a half size up, and walking through the river, it kept my feet nice and dry. I think it would definitely keep you dry, but remember only as far as the shoe goes will it keep you dry lol. They’ve also got amazing grip. Whether we were on wet stones, or gravelly and sand covered rocks that could easily give way and make you slip or fall they worked amazingly.

A Critical Review: Pros:
Boot fit perfectly. I’m an 8.5, ordered an 8.5, and took them to work the next day with no blisters. They are waterproof. Good grip on them.

Cons:

However, I read a lot of reviews before purchasing these boots and trusted them but my boots did not meet my expectations. I love and trust Colombia, but these boots get extremely hot with a little sunlight. Your feet feel as if they are burning and I often have to put water on them to cool them down. I’m a field biologist working in San Clemente Island and we hike where there’s lots of cholla and prickly pears. The cholla went right through my boots! Very painful. The worst part is that this is the only pair of boots I have with me on the island so I have to suffer with them until I get off.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 4) Columbia Men’s Crestwood Hiking Shoe

columbia hiking shoes: Columbia Men's Crestwood Hiking Shoe by Store Columbia Store

Product Summary: Looking for a versatile, comfortable hiking shoe? Check out the Columbia Men’s Crestwood Hiking Shoe! Made with a leather and mesh upper, this shoe is breathable and tough, perfect for hikes of all kinds. The Techlite midsole provides cushioning and support, while the Omni-Grip outsole gives you traction on any terrain. Whether you’re hitting the trails or just running errands, the Crestwood Hiking Shoe is a great choice!

A 5-Star Review: I bought these for my husband for a hiking trip where I knew our feet would get wet. I wanted more of a water shoe for him but could not find any in his size so I bought these. He really liked them and said they were comfortable. Our hike was about 4 hours long and he said his feet never hurt. The only exception was that they were NOT waterproof or water resistant at all. The water did soak through to his socks. Aside from that, he liked them. I would recommend these if you know you will be hiking in a dry area.

A Critical Review: The Good: These shoes are very nice-looking. In fact, they look much better live than the picture. The outer tread and uppers seem to be made of high quality material. The upper material is strong on the sides for good support on uneven terrain. The shoe strings are high quality – many shoes today have cheap shoe strings and it can be telling of shoe quality, but these shoes aren’t top of the line quality-wise and below are my reasons for knocking off 2 stars.

The 9.5 W men’s shoe was too short and narrow. I put them bottom to bottom with 2 other pair of 9.5W shoes and they came up short both directions. I returned and got a 10 W and it was same length as my other 9.5’s but slightly narrower, enough that it was uncomfortable. I liked the shoe appearance so I ended up stretching the shoe width using a small child’s inflatable ball, inserting it and pumping it gently (be careful not to over inflate if you do this), allowed each shoe to stretch overnight, and now they are fine. Oddly, an old US made foot measuring gauge shows I need a 9 D (imported item sizes seem to never be accurate).

The next issue I had with these shoes are the insert pads in the bottom. They are cheap and provide little cushioning and arch support. They are so cheap it made walking in the shoe feel hard and hurt my feet. I am an avid walker and hiker so comfort is important to me. I ended up using a thin pair of Lyco brand inserts and I now love the shoe.

Overall I’m happy with the shoe after my size and insert adjustments. They are very nice looking shoes and I have had 2 compliments on them in just a few weeks.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 5) Columbia Men’s Redmond Iii Waterproof Hiking Shoe

columbia hiking shoes: Columbia Men's Redmond Iii Waterproof Hiking Shoe by Store Columbia Store

Product Summary: The Columbia Men’s Redmond III Waterproof Hiking Shoe is perfect for your next outdoor adventure. Made with a waterproof and breathable leather and mesh upper, this shoe will keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long. The cushioned midsole provides support and comfort, while the traction outsole keeps you stable on any terrain.

A 5-Star Review: I live in a desert community in Nevada. I walk between two and four miles a day for exercise with my dog. Our walks are on dirt roads ATV trails and cross country, so the shoes take a pretty good beating in the harsh environment. These shoes have proven comfortable and sturdy over the last 4 months and I would expect to buy another pair when these finally wear out.

A Critical Review: Pros:

* The sole seems to be a good medium firmness.

Cons:

* The shoe is a little too stiff.
* The tongue is half an inch too long and hits my ankle bone when I walk.
* The toe box is good except for it goes down to quickly and squishes my pinky toe.
* The shoe is kind of warm. Maybe because the waterproof material.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 6) Columbia Men’s Valley Pointe Waterproof Hiking Shoe

columbia hiking shoes: Columbia Men's Valley Pointe Waterproof Hiking Shoe by Store Columbia Store

Product Summary: The Columbia Men’s Valley Pointe Waterproof Hiking Shoe is a versatile and comfortable shoe that is perfect for any outdoor activity. The shoe is made with a waterproof leather and mesh upper that is perfect for keeping your feet dry in any condition. The shoe also features a cushioned insole and a durable rubber outsole that is perfect for any terrain.

A 5-Star Review: A passable waterproof hiking shoe. However, they are slightly narrower than expected, and their components are not as breathable. Perhaps that’s reasonable for a waterproof shoe, but my feet become warm (sometimes uncomfortably so) whenever I wear them for even a short walk.

A Critical Review: Nice looking well constructed shoes. However, not all that comfortable on my size 14 feet. At the end of a day of wearing I’m happy to take them off. I’ll try some different insoles to see if that helps but have a feeling these are going to live in the back of my closet.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 7) Columbia Men’s Trailstorm Peak Mid Hiking Shoe

columbia hiking shoes: Columbia Men's Trailstorm Peak Mid Hiking Shoe by Store Columbia Store

These shoes feature a waterproof and breathable construction, as well as a cushioned midsole for allday comfort. A 5-Star Review: Really comfortable boot, but start to apart before a month of use

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 8) Columbia Men’s Redmond V2 Mid Waterproof Boot Hiking Shoe

columbia hiking shoes: Columbia Men's Redmond V2 Mid Waterproof Boot Hiking Shoe by Store Columbia Store

Product Summary: The Columbia Men’s Redmond V2 Mid Waterproof Boot Hiking Shoe is a great choice for your next hike. With a waterproof and breathable design, this boot will keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long. The mid-cut design provides support and stability on uneven terrain, and the cushioned footbed will keep your feet feeling great even after miles on the trail.

A 5-Star Review: What can I say? They fit my foot (big but narrow) well (US14). So they probably run narrow if I like them (there is a Wide fit version). They are light and not so chunky (who needs to hit the brake, accelerator and clutch at the same time?) They are waterproof (except if the rain comes in the top, but you can’t blame the shoe.

Version 2 is the same fit as V1. Maybe slightly better made. I had one pair of brown V1s come unglued at the toe (in the desert in 90°F heat). Never a problem with the lighter tan ones. Mind you the brown ones are still wearable – bit of ShoeGoo and they soldier on.

My one complaint is that I’d really like some reflective elements for when I’m on a bike or out in the dark. I suppose I can buy some reflective laces, but seems a slight oversight

A Critical Review: Bought these for work. Im a delivery driver. About a month later they are falling apart and have holes in them. I thought Columbia was a good brand. Guess not.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 9) Columbia Women’s Redmond Iii Hiking Shoe

columbia hiking shoes: Columbia Women's Redmond Iii Hiking Shoe by Store Columbia Store

The shoe is made with a waterproof and breathable leather and mesh upper, which helps keep your feet dry and comfortable. The Omni-Grip outsole provides excellent traction on all surfaces, and the shoe is lined with a comfortable and breathable mesh.

A 5-Star Review: I ordered a half size bigger than I need for more room. This is my second pair and I love them they wear really well

A Critical Review: These are very light weight. There is no arch support at all, I am rather unimpressed.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 10) Columbia Women’s Facet 60 Low Outdry Hiking Shoe

columbia hiking shoes: Columbia Women's Facet 60 Low Outdry Hiking Shoe by Store Columbia Store

Product Summary: Looking for a shoe that can keep up with your outdoor adventures? Look no further than the Columbia Women’s Facet 60 Low Outdry Hiking Shoe. The low-cut design provides flexibility and mobility, and the lugged outsole delivers traction and stability on a variety of surfaces. Whether you’re hitting the trail or exploring a new city, the Columbia Women’s Facet 60 Low Outdry Hiking Shoe has you covered.

A 5-Star Review: I’m an ER nurse, I’m practically running through out my shifts
I’ve gone through Asics, Nikes, Salomon, Hoka, and Crocks, but these are the shoes I put on every shift now
I have high arches and have chronic foot and back pain , these have reduced that pain.!!

A Critical Review: The shoe strings are hard to keep tightened. The tippy toe of the shoe is already started to flap off and I’ve had them less than 3 months. Love the outside/inside support of the shoe to keep your foot from rolling.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 11) Columbia Women’s Crestwood Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe

columbia hiking shoes: Columbia Women's Crestwood Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe by Store Columbia Store

Product Summary: The Columbia Women‘s Crestwood Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe is a great choice for a day on the trail. It features a waterproof leather and mesh upper, which will keep your feet dry in wet conditions. The midcut design provides support and stability, while the EVA foam footbed ensures allday comfort. The OmniGrip outsole provides traction on varied terrain.

A 5-Star Review: Great hiking shoe. Used on a trip to Kauai. The shoes fit comfortably and during hikes, they provided stable traction on rocky trails.

FYI: these shoes are not waterproof (they may be water resistant). They got wet while I was in Maui and required 24 hours of outdoor dry time, plus a few minutes with a blow dryer. After that, they were pretty much dry and could be worn comfortably.

A Critical Review: When walking through wet grass, water easily seeps in through the top. Very disappointed. They look nice and fit well but they are useless for hiking in moisture.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 12) Columbia Women’s Hatana Max Outdry Hiking Shoe

columbia hiking shoes: Columbia Women's Hatana Max Outdry Hiking Shoe by Store Columbia Store

A 5-Star Review: Might I say, I was excited to write this review! I wore the shoes for the first time yesterday out hiking. The terrain was average. However, it had rained and it was quite muddy and I had to walk trough standing water in some areas. The shoes were very comfortable and WATERPROOF! The person I went with, had gotten a new pair of waterproof shoes as well. Hers were definitely cute, but didn’t stand the test. Her shoes and her feet were wet and muddy before we ever finished the hike. The pictures are before the hike, after the hike and after spraying with the water hose. All good and still waterproof! Also important, is don’t judge the shoe when you open the box. I opened the box and thought I must have ordered a man’s shoe because they looked big. Not the case at all! I wear a size 9 in sneakers. I ordered a size 9 and they fit great and wear well! I like the feel and support of the shoe. I think the shoe would be good for everyday wear as well.

A Critical Review: Zero arch support and too tight in the toe box. Not a good shoe if you plan on hiking for hours. Your feet are too important to put in these shoes. I just bought Vasque Breeze and I’m very pleased!

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 13) Columbia Women’s Redmond V2 Waterproof Hiking Shoe

columbia hiking shoes: Columbia Women's Redmond V2 Waterproof Hiking Shoe by Store Columbia Store

Product Summary: The Columbia Women’s Redmond V2 Waterproof Hiking Shoe is the perfect shoe for your next hike. With a waterproof and breathable design, this shoe will keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long. The traction outsole will provide you with the grip you need on any terrain, and the cushioned insole will keep your feet comfortable all day long.

A 5-Star Review: A little wide in the heel, but I have a narrow heel. Use them for twice daily walks up our rocky road, gardening etc. I usually put them on in the morning and wear them all day. This is my second pair. After 6 mos. or so the first pair has a couple small tears and are no longer waterproof. So, I wear them on dry days.

A Critical Review: I love the overall fit and comfort of these hikers but water gets into the left shoe. I bought these shoes for morning dog walks. The grass is almost always wet so I needed shoes that would keep my feet dry. On the first walk I noticed water got into the right shoe along the border with the leather upper and the sole. I sprayed them with boot waterproofing spray and that took care of the leak. However, after about 3 weeks of daily walks the left shoe let water in at the heel underneath the shoe liner. I tried the spray on it but nothing that I do works. The right shoe is now fine but the left shoe always takes on water. I am guessing it comes in somewhere on the sides and pools at the heal, leading to soaking wet socks. The return window is only 30 days. I wish that I had returned them when they first had a problem. Advice: Don’t try to fix them just return them if they leak.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 14) Columbia Men’s Buxton Peak Mid Ii Hiking Shoe

columbia hiking shoes: Columbia Men's Buxton Peak Mid Ii Hiking Shoe by Store Columbia Store

Product Summary: The Columbia Men‘s Buxton Peak Mid II Hiking Shoe is a great choice for your next hike. It features a comfortable, breathable mesh upper with a waterproof, seamsealed construction. The midcut design provides support and stability on the trail, while the OmniGrip outsole delivers traction and grip.

A Critical Review: These hikers are very nice, they seem to be well made and are very attractive. However, the wide width that we received fit like a regular width which was very disappointing. Thank goodness for free returns.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 15) Columbia Women’s Vitesse Fasttrack Waterproof Hiking Shoe

columbia hiking shoes: Columbia Women's Vitesse Fasttrack Waterproof Hiking Shoe by Store Columbia Store

Product Summary: The Columbia Women‘s Vitesse Fasttrack Waterproof Hiking Shoe is a great choice for anyone who loves spending time outdoors. With a waterproof and breathable design, this shoe will keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long. The Vitesse also features a cushioned midsole for added comfort, and a traction outsole that provides excellent grip on any terrain.

A 5-Star Review: I ordered usual size 7 but returned because they were too short. 7.5 fit perfectly. I tried them on a dog walk in wet grass and they were great at keeping my feet dry. I wore them on a very long plane ride and for a week in Africa during rainy season and found them comfortable and water resistant. I didn’t walk in puddles. When I got home I washed them in my washing machine and dried outside. Not sure if this impacts water resistance but they look fine.

A Critical Review: My daughter likes the looks of this hiking shoes it looks like a regular athletic sneakers. The dislike, it sounds like if it had plastic garbage bags evertime you walk. In other words very noisy every step she takes.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 16) Columbia Men’s Vitesse Fasttrack Waterproof Hiking Shoe

columbia hiking shoes: Columbia Men's Vitesse Fasttrack Waterproof Hiking Shoe by Store Columbia Store

Product Summary: The Columbia Men’s Vitesse Fasttrack Waterproof Hiking Shoe is a great choice for your next hike. With a waterproof and breathable upper, you’ll be sure to stay dry and comfortable on the trail. A cushioned midsole provides support and comfort, while a rubber outsole delivers traction and stability.

A 5-Star Review: They are light weight , very comfortable and I have a hide foot. I use them everyday on ladders above 20 feet have to trust them that’s the only thing that give me a grip.

A Critical Review: Shoe fits great.

It’s light and the insoles are quite comfortable.

My only issue, and its a pretty big issue; the shoe laces.

These laces keep coming undone, even when I double knot them.

Not sure if it’s the material or what, but laces come undone with normal walking.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 17) Columbia Men’s Trailstorm Waterproof Hiking Shoe

columbia hiking shoes: Columbia Men's Trailstorm Waterproof Hiking Shoe by Store Columbia Store

Product Summary: The Columbia Men‘s Trailstorm Waterproof Hiking Shoe is a great choice for the man who loves to hike. This shoe is comfortable and provides great support while you are on the trail. The waterproof design keeps your feet dry and the traction outsole helps you keep your footing on slippery surfaces.

A 5-Star Review: So confortable for a long day walking and standing.

A Critical Review: Oedered a 13 wide first, my size in most other brands. Too small so I returned them for 14 wide. The box says 14wide but the tongue of the shoe only says 14. If it is a “wide” shoe then I wonder what a regular fit shoe is. In the end 14 wide is not wide enough for my 13 wide feet. Returning again to try another brand.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 18) Columbia Men’s Redmond V2 Waterproof Hiking Shoe

columbia hiking shoes: Columbia Men’s Redmond V2 Waterproof Hiking Shoe by Store Columbia Store

Product Summary: The Redmond V2 Waterproof Hiking Shoe from Columbia will keep your feet dry and comfortable on even the wettest of days. The waterproof leather and mesh upper is tough and breathable, while the Techlite midsole provides cushioned comfort and support. The Omni-Grip outsole ensures traction and stability on any terrain.

A 5-Star Review: The shoes are cool. I ordered these for my husband. his normal size is 7. I ordered a size 7 but it fits half a size smaller than expected. 🙁

A Critical Review: Purchase November 12, 2021. Waterproofing stopped working on June 11, 2022. But, for the price I expected the waterproofing to last longer especially with the name of Columbia.

A 5-Star Review: Had these for about 3 weeks, covered more than 60 miles in them. They are flatter than I prefer (very little if any arch). That said, everything else is just about perfect. Bought them primarily as “trail shoes” for walking in the local “backwoods” park. They do great as trail shoes. Multiple lace options allow you to customize the security of the shoe so you toes don’t slam going up and down hill (the park trail I walk gains more than 200 feet over a 1/4 mile). Seem to be very durable, good grip on wet trails and streets. I have a square fore foot (my foot is shaped like a shoe box) and these work well with my square foot. The leather wrapped toes box protects the toes when walking trails. Definitely worthy for what I paid for them on sale – I will probably order a second pair. The first pic makes the sole look a lot more worn that it is but after at least 60 miles (according to my Garmin) they still look almost new and I’m a big guy.

A 5-Star Review: Received item with original box and in excellent condition! Thanks to seller.

A Critical Review: This shoe looks good and seems to be quality product but the toe area of the shoe is very narrow and did not fit

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 22) Columbia Women’s Trailstorm Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Women's Trailstorm Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Product Summary: The Columbia Women’s Trailstorm Waterproof Hiking Shoe is a great choice for your next hike. It features a waterproof construction that will keep your feet dry and comfortable, while the breathable mesh upper will keep them cool and ventilated. The cushioned insole and supportive midsole will provide you with all-day comfort, while the traction outsole will help keep you safe on your adventure.

A 5-Star Review: FYI, I’m nearly 71 years old and I’m training for a 5k trail run this September. I tell you this because some of what I have to say may sound strange. Just took these shoes out on the trail for the first time. I wish the shoe box was just a little wider. I have to wear bunion pads but even my toes were a bit smooshed. They fit like a glove – unfortunately you have to wear extremely thin socks with them or they don’t fit at all. Overall, I like them. They have great ankle support, which is good because I clipped my toes on several rocks on the trail today but didn’t fall. They have great traction. If you walk or run trails, regular sneakers are not good. Trail sneakers give you traction you need and keep your foot from twisting on the rocks, roots, twigs, etc. If I find that I need to wear thicker socks with them, I may purchase another pair 1/2 size larger. Overall, I really like them even with my bunions, corns, hammer toe and blisters – I was able to tolerate the jog.

A Critical Review: Very uncomfortable. Bought for vacation in NC and feet hurt the whole time. If you are going to by them go up one half to one size.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 23) Columbia Men’s Redmond Iii Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Men's Redmond Iii Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Product Summary: If you’re looking for a versatile and reliable hiking shoe, you can’t go wrong with the Columbia Men’s Redmond III Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe. This shoe is designed for comfort and stability, with a waterproof and breathable construction to keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long. The mid-cut design provides support and protection against the elements, while the Omni-Grip outsole ensures traction and stability on any terrain. Whether you’re hitting the trails or just exploring your local park, the Columbia Men’s Redmond III Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe is a great choice for any adventure.

A 5-Star Review: I work outside where I need durable shoes that can withstand the elements. I have literally stepped fully into puddles, been in rain, and had dirt fall on them, and they really are waterproof after 2 months in. The tread gives a lot of feet support, and they also brush dirt off super easily. I haven’t had to clean them at all since dirt basically just comes off once you walk in them enough. They also are an attractive looking shoe that I have used casually for hiking, and have gotten compliments on. My only complaint, which is likely due to my own feet size difference, is the right feels a tad tighter than the left at the toe and the ankle. There also has been some chafing already on the inside of the shoe at the heel and toe area, but I use them every day so that’s understandable. Overall I am really satisfied with the quality for this price, it didn’t break the bank for a good shoe.

A Critical Review: These boots were selected because I was satisfied with an old pair from the same company. I expected two similar boots size 101/2 W from Columbia would be the same size. These are not the same width! Tags agree but actual size is different.
I try not to get shoes on line. This is why!

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 24) Columbia Men’s Trailstorm Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Men's Trailstorm Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Product Summary: The Columbia Men‘s Trailstorm Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe is a great choice for your next hike. With a waterproof construction, this shoe will keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long. The midcut design provides support and stability on uneven terrain, and the cushioned insole offers allday comfort.

A 5-Star Review: I can’t wear them for long periods of time. A quick hike and back to slides. I have a 13us and the sizing is correct, but the width is an issue.

A Critical Review: I think they have 1 review on 2 different shoes on this review. The mesh one is not waterproof. Walk through some wet grass and I can feel my socks wet. Also, this shoe is narrow so I suggest you get the wide one. It’s tight. The shoe is true to its side, just tight

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 25) Columbia Men’s Facet 60 Low Outdry Hiking Shoe

Men's Facet 60 Low Outdry Hiking Shoe

Product Summary: The Columbia Men‘s Facet 60 Low Outdry Hiking Shoe is a versatile and durable hiking shoe that is perfect for any adventure. The Vibram rubber outsole provides traction and stability on any surface, making the Facet 60 Low Outdry Hiking Shoe an essential piece of gear for any hike.

A 5-Star Review: Son bien comodos para viajar y escalar si son bien sellados no recomendable usarlo en pavimento. La verdad me gustan

A Critical Review: Uncomfortable heel. Digs in. A size too small. I ordered a size 13 which is normal for me in hiking shoes and 1 size up from my normal 12s in sneakers etc and they were still too small. Quite narrow too. I’ll stick my new balance hikers.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 26) Columbia Women’s Redmond Iii Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Women's Redmond Iii Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Product Summary: The Columbia Women’s Redmond III Waterproof Hiking Shoe is a versatile and durable shoe that is perfect for any adventure. The waterproof and breathable leather and mesh upper keeps your feet dry and comfortable, while the Omni-Grip outsole provides excellent traction on any terrain.

A 5-Star Review: Seems to be well constructed and fits snugly. I have bunions so I buy wide width shoes. This shoe is just wide enough with average sock, but won’t allow thick sock at all. Will try to stretch the toe box a bit more. Heel areas fit fine.

A Critical Review: This Columbia waterproof model is great! It does run a bit short. I purchased a wide & 1/2 size bigger. Perfect!! Would Recommend!

A 5-Star Review: I had high hopes for this lightweight waterproof hiking shoe. The shoe looks good and appears to be well constructed, BUT… I typically wear a 10 Wide and the size 10 was a good length—unfortunately, the Wide is way too narrow. They are being returned….

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 30) Columbia Men’s Vitesse Mid Outdry Hiking Shoe, 4 us

Men's Vitesse Mid Outdry Hiking Shoe, 4 us

With a waterproof and breathable Outdry upper, you‘ll be able to keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long. The midcut design provides support and stability on uneven terrain, and the Vibram outsole ensures traction and stability on all surfaces.

A 5-Star Review: I had som Grove Heights, Columbia shoes and love them. Being my first outdoors shoes I wanted a second pair. I eventually found these, but wanted to make sure size would be the same as my first pair so I did the “Try before you buy” and was glad I did!

Ok so waterproof is not as good as my Grove Heights but I usually expect to get my feet wet when in or near the water so yeah no biggie there. Comfort wise they are more “softer” or conform better to my feet when stepping around rocks or cracks. Overall really satisfied with my purchase!

A Critical Review: These are probably the most comfortable hiking boots I’ve had. Perfect in a bunch of ways – waterproof, super comfortable but not mushy, laces hold, they look good, and even the little cuff is great (less for keeping snow out, more for helping pant cuffs glide over). So with all that in mind, why the 3 stars?

I had read another review with a photo showing a hole developing in the same model, right on the inside, near the front, where the crease forms. These shoes have kept my feet warm and dry throughout the winter, but how can they still be waterproof if they have holes in the sides? For that, I had to drop 2 stars, and I probably wouldn’t recommend these. I stretched past my normal comfort zone and paid more than I normally would to try these, so it’s disappointing that they didn’t last a whole season.

When I saw the other review, I assumed the person who wrote it was a more energetic hiker, and maybe their pair was getting more abused. I did hike outdoors in the cold a bit, but nothing that would tax any of my shoes – this is just an unfortunate design. Especially since there’s reinforcement all around the area that is wearing through.

Again, one of the most comfortable hikers ever, but they don’t seem to last.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 31) Columbia Men’s Hatana Breathe Hiking Shoe

Men's Hatana Breathe Hiking Shoe

Whether you’re hitting the trails or just running errands, the Columbia Men’s Hatana Breathe Hiking Shoe is a great choice.

A 5-Star Review: I had been looking for a low-cut hiker and saw where Columbia had introduced these. This is a brand new shoe/hiker from them and I got these as soon as they became available. I wear these nearly every day. They look great, are comfortable and perform on the trail. 4 mile dirt & rock trail hike along the river last weekend (sockless). Walked right into the river, splashed around and back on to the trail with no issues or blisters at days end. Time will tell if they’re durable, but so far everything is great and previous Columbia shoe purchases have held up. They are quick to dry, but I did replace the insoles with water shoe insoles. The original insoles would probably be fine as well. Looks like the price has already gone way up as I got these for less.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 32) Columbia Men’s Woodburn Ii Chukka Waterproof Omni-Heat Hiking Shoe

Men's Woodburn Ii Chukka Waterproof Omni-Heat Hiking Shoe

Product Summary: The Columbia Men’s Woodburn II Chukka Waterproof Omni-Heat Hiking Shoe is a versatile and comfortable choice for a variety of outdoor activities. A 5-Star Review: Perfect fits, great hiking shoe, I bout second pair!

A Critical Review: The boots look sweet!! The laces DON’T stay tied. They’re waterproof. Only downfall… Very narrow. I wore them one day, at the and of the day it felt like my pinky toes were bruised. No good. Unfortunate.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 33) Columbia Women’s Facet 60 Outdry Hiking Shoe

Women's Facet 60 Outdry Hiking Shoe

A 5-Star Review: These boots are so comfortable and I get compliments on how they look. I ordered an extra pair in case they weren’t available when I need another pair. I’m an avid hiker and they are great support for my ankles. In fact, my orthopedic Dr saw them and said they were great for support for my broken ankle. She gave me a brace to wear with the boots vs putting me in one of those bulking ankle boots to wear. I was back on the trails in no time!!!!

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 34) Columbia Women’s Vitesse Hiking Shoe

Women's Vitesse Hiking Shoe

Product Summary: The Columbia Women’s Vitesse Hiking Shoe is a versatile and comfortable hiking shoe that is perfect for any trail. The shoe is constructed with a breathable mesh upper and a waterproof and breathable Omni-Tech membrane, which ensures that your feet will stay dry and comfortable even when the weather is not ideal. The Vitesse also features a Techlite midsole, which provides superior cushioning and support, and a non-marking rubber outsole, which ensures traction and stability on any surface.

A 5-Star Review: I wore these on a 7 mile hike in the Smokies without breaking them in first. They were comfortable and never felt heavy. Going downhill was good-I had no issues with my feet sliding forward in the shoe as long as I tightened the laces in the right spots. I love the look of these also.

A Critical Review: I have put over 50 miles on these shoes. When I was wearing them to break them in, before wearing on hikes in Colorado, they felt great. Once I started hiking up and down mountains at RMNP, things changed. Because these shoes don’t have any ankle support, if you don’t have very strong ankles, once you start walking in uneven surfaces you will find yourself rolling your ankles frequently. I also had to tie them as tight as humanly possible or the tongues would slide to one side and also cause some discomfort with different areas rubbing. I had some rubbing on my left Achilles and my right outer ankle bone. These shoes are not waterproof or dust proof. At the end of my hike I would take my shoes off and my toes would be filthy from all the sand/dirt that came in through the mesh and my sock. After 35 miles at RMNP, these shoes have tons of scuffing and look like I’ve had them for years. Luckily my feet didn’t hurt badly while wearing these shoes, I just think hiking boots would have been better for the terrain on a true hiking trail.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 35) Columbia Women’s Redmond V2 Hiking Shoe

Women's Redmond V2 Hiking Shoe

Product Summary: Take your hike to the next level with the Columbia Women’s Redmond V2 Hiking Shoe. This shoe is designed with a Techlite midsole for long-lasting comfort and superior cushioning, and a Omni-Grip outsole for traction and stability on any terrain. The Redmond V2 is perfect for any hike, whether you’re tackling a difficult trail or a leisurely walk in the park.

A 5-Star Review: These shoes are definitely not stylish, but I do really hard work with a ton of walking. I got really tired of buying shoes every month or so. I finally found these and thought I’d give them a try. They have lasted for several months now and aren’t showing any sign of wear and tear. Any other shoes I’ve tried would be demolished by now. So, if you’re looking for excellent quality these are great.

A Critical Review: This Columbia women’s Redmond V2 Hiking shoe is ok, but feels/wears more like a basic/entry level type shoe compared to Merrell, Teva, Vasque. There are probably other higher end/priced Columbia shoes, but this one isn’t up there.

I added my arch support inserts to these Columbia shoes and that helped for me so I will keep them. They are ok for everyday errands, vacation, etc. but they wouldn’t be my first choice for hiking.

A couple of years ago after wearing a lightweight pair of memory foam Skechers (that I initially thought was comfortable) on vacation, I developed a painful case of plantar fasciitis and could barely walk barefoot. I had usually worn my Merrell, Teva, or Vasque trekkers while on vacations and didn’t realize that I had high arches and those shoes had very good arch support so I didn’t have any problems.

After at least a year of foot pain, stretching, massages (but no shots!), arch supports, wearing Oofos and Tellic slippers inside,, my PF finally went away. And I’ve been careful ever since to make sure that all my shoes, slippers and footwear have decent arch support.

So if you require decent arch support in your footwear, these Columbia shoes may not work as well for you. Or you can add your own arch supports.

A 5-Star Review: Very nicely designed, super lightweight and 💯 % water proof. I walk 8hrs on my gardening job. So far 3 weeks in so perfect and comfy. They are built on the wide side so good room to wiggle your toes. Unfortunately I couldnt upload pics

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 37) Columbia Women’s Plateau Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Women's Plateau Waterproof Hiking Shoe

With its waterproof design, this shoe will keep your feet dry and comfortable while you enjoy your hike. The plateform design provides excellent traction and support on any terrain, and the cushioned insole will keep your feet comfortable all day long.

A 5-Star Review: I’ve been trying different water resistant shoes but my feet would still get wet so I finally just bought these. They aren’t the most comfortable if you got wide feet, but they actually kept my feet dry and haven’t given me any blisters yet. Note that they do get a bit hot thou. After a full day of work, my feet stink. But that’s better than soggy ass feet in my opinion.

A Critical Review: Its not like expected. In picture it is not like having a laces with knot and quality is also not like expected

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 38) Columbia Women’s Facet 15 Hiking Shoe

Women's Facet 15 Hiking Shoe

Product Summary: The Columbia Women’s Facet 15 Hiking Shoe is a reliable and comfortable choice for your next hike. Featuring a waterproof and breathable design, this shoe will keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long. The Omni-Grip outsole provides excellent traction on all surfaces, while the midsole provides cushioning and support.

A 5-Star Review: Comfortable

A Critical Review: I was hoping these could be a nice light hiker, comfortable for a full day.

They cannot be that. They are not remotely supportive enough and the heel cup is obviously man sized, not women sized. And the padding is deeply uneven.

But they are ok for half a day with a thickish sock. And cute enough.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 39) Columbia Women’s Trailstorm Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Women's Trailstorm Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Product Summary: Shop our latest collection of clothing and gear now and be sure to stay warm and comfortable all winter long.

A 5-Star Review: I work with water all day and this boots are totally waterproof, very comfortable and light to work all day. I did ordered a half size bigger than mine because I read the comments the first day of use they were a bit tight but they feel comfortable now and my feet stay dry it’s the important part for me. I’ll come back later to see the durability.

A Critical Review: I live in the Pacific Northwest and needed to replace my rain boots. After searching for quite some time I settled on these based on the description and reviews. I wanted a comfortable pair of waterproof boots that I can use while walking my dog, hiking, and the occasional snow. I was skeptical of the waterproof claims with the mesh top on the toe box and I was right to be. That is the only part that is not waterproof and not toes get wet almost every time. Well I love how comfy they are and I paid a grip so looks like I’m rocking them for a while. Great hiking trail shoe but will not keep you dry in very wet conditions.

Columbia Hiking Shoes # 40) Columbia Men’s Firecamp Boot Hiking Shoe

Men's Firecamp Boot Hiking Shoe

Product Summary: Columbia creates high-quality footwear to keep you outside longer. With waterproof and breathable materials, you can stay active in any weather condition.

A 5-Star Review: I have never had a good quality hiking boot before and was not sure what to expect. These hiking boots are lightweight, waterproof and well-insulated. If you are going to wear thick Woolen socks, I recommend going a half size bigger. That will ensure that it fits properly. Even with regular socks, the insulation helps keep your feet warm and give you a little extra room to wiggle. An issue that I had with other hiking boots, The Strain sometimes gets snagged in the eyelids; however, that is not the case with these. These are perfect. The string slide easily through them and try and stay tight. I picked up the Navy and brown ones for us and I to go camping with. They really are good-looking boots and we wear there pretty much everywhere nowadays.

A Critical Review: UPDATE: didn’t want to chance hiking in these after my discovery. I was standing in them at work and each day around the 4 hr mark of standing, I noticed intense pressure points on my toes and arch of my foot. 2nd day was too much. Not really sure what was going on with the arch but there seems to be a seem on the sides around the front sole that puts pressure on my smallest toe and the one next to it and caused a blister between those two toes (only on my left foot). I Sent these back for being too uncomfortable. These boots are not for me or my feet.

Initial reaction review: The logo is different on mine than is shown/advertised on amazon, be warned, I don’t really care for being their billboard with this logo…

So far these are comfortable and fit as a size 11 is expected to fit. They are very lightweight and seem somewhat light duty with not much ankle support but I will be testing these out on a multi-day backpack trip on 11/09/19 & 11/10/19 with an extra 30-35lbs on my back. I’ll be looking for how these do in water, for traction in slick spots, how snug they fit during the day, and how well the ankle support holds up. To be continued…

Conclusion:

In conclusion, the Columbia hiking shoes are a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish and affordable shoe. They provide good support and traction, and are available in a wide range of sizes and colors. With so many positive features, it’s no wonder that the Columbia hiking shoes are one of the most popular choices among hikers.
