The temple is around 50 meters from the Naggar castle is an important tourist and religious attraction in Naggar. You can also trek to this place from Naggar Castle. The temple is built in the shape of a pyramid with square shaped base and dome shape on the top. Apart from just visiting the temple, there are many things to do in Gowri Shankar Temple. You can enjoy celebrations of various events in the temple or you can also enjoy some great delicious local food of the town near the temple. This trek will lead you through the alpine pastures offering some of the gorgeous and stunning views of mountain peaks and open valleys. The greatest attractions are the Bara Bangal range towering hill in the west while the Pir Panjal ranges in the north and Parvati in the east. The trekking experience is a bit challenging and is often completed in 4-5 days.

The place that serves as the museum now was once home to famous Russian artist Nicholas Roerich. Prof. Nicholas Roerich was so much overtaken by the beauty of Naggar and Manali that he settled in India in Naggar in 1917. The Himachal Pradesh Government and along with Russian Government have formed a trust to run this art gallery. The Nicholas Art Gallery of Naggar have some amazing paintings of Kullu, Spiti, and Lahaul made by the Nicholas Roerich. The museum also has some great works from all over the world. Most of his paintings describe the beauty of the place with ice-covered valleys and peaks. The museum is themed on Russian Art and also has various musical instruments, stone carvings made by the professor himself. The museum is open on all days except Monday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
