Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 1) KEEN Women’s Steens Vent Hiking Shoe

Product Summary: The KEEN Women’s Steens Vent Hiking Shoe is a great choice for your next hike. This shoe features a breathable mesh upper with a KEEN.Dry waterproof membrane to keep your feet dry and comfortable. The EVA footbed provides cushioning and support, while the non-marking rubber outsole ensures traction and durability.

A 5-Star Review: I am so happy with this purchase. A very solid, secure sneaker. And my podiatrist says this is a good quality brand.

A Critical Review: I purchased a pair of these shoes for work (gardening). The first pair were so awesome, I bought a second. The second pair are too big and don’t fit anything like the first.

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 2) KEEN Women’s Voyageur Hiking Shoe

Keen Hiking Shoes Women: KEEN Women's Voyageur Hiking Shoe by Store KEEN Store

Product Summary: The KEEN Women’s Voyageur Hiking Shoe is the perfect choice for your next hike. With a water-resistant leather and mesh upper, this shoe will keep your feet dry and comfortable. The KEEN.Dry waterproof, breathable membrane will keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long. The contoured footbed provides support and cushioning, while the EVA midsole provides shock absorption and comfort. The rubber outsole provides traction and stability on all surfaces.

A 5-Star Review: I inherited my mother’s bunions, and they’re fairly bad. It’s very difficult to find shoes with a wide enough toe box that aren’t too loose in the ankle. But I can always rely on Keens! These hiking shoes are very comfortable. I bought them for a hiking trip at the end of the month so I would have enough time to break them in, but I needn’t have bothered. They were fantastic right out of the box. Note: I went up 1/2 a size from my usual size.

A Critical Review: I have bought Keens for years and this is the most poorly made pair I have ever bought. I am feeling like these won’t last as long as previous pairs ☹️

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 3) KEEN Women’s Circadia Vent Low Height Breathable Hiking Shoes

Keen Hiking Shoes Women: KEEN Women's Circadia Vent Low Height Breathable Hiking Shoes by Store KEEN Store

Product Summary: Some people call it a daily driver – we call it the Circadia. Featuring a lightweight KEEN LuftCore cushioning this is an everyday hiker with all-day comfort and protection. Made with durable leather, breathable vented mesh and featuring a high-grip tread, the Circadia Vent hiking shoes for women are built off KEEN’s traditional wider footwear form. KEEN products are consciously created using PFC-free water repellent (in applicable styles) and leather sourced from Leather Working Group (LWG)-certified tanneries. KEEN makes shoes to make a difference. As a brand born for life outside, KEEN has a responsibility to protect and conserve the places where all people live, play and work with no ceiling.

A 5-Star Review: I have a pair of Keen sandals I absolutely love for the outdoors. They are durable and have lasted a long time. These Keen hiking shoes are no exception to the Keen quality I’ve grown to expect. These are sturdy and high quality. The rubber footbed is especially durable. These are especially great on sharp rocks I hardly notice them with the durable foot bed.

I’m an avid hiker and trail runner at the thing that is the most important to me is comfort. This is where I think these could be improved. I expected just a bit more arch support. These have a wide toe box which is great for adding a pair of wool hiking socks. I’ve found this is the best type of socks to wear with these types of shoes for preventing blisters. I like that that I can add a good pair of hiking socks to these shoes and not have them too tight.

As for hiking, while these are durable, I don’t think they are comfortable enough for long miles. I still prefer my trail runners longer trail runs. These Keens work best up to six miles but start to feel heavy and clunky on my feet after that.

My favorite feature on these shoes is the notch at the back of the heel inside the shoes for my achilles. This keeps my already sore achilles from rubbing and hurting even more. I also have a protrusion at the back of my heel from achilles inflammation and spurs so this feature is great for my problem.

The breathable mesh helps keep my feet from getting too hot. Combined with the sturdy leather, this makes for a durable and breathable upper.

Overall, for those who prefer hiking in a solid, sturdy hiking shoe, these are great. For those who prefer the comfort of trail shoe, these may feel too heavy. It’s really about personal preference but in the end, this is a solid brand with great quality and worth the price.

A Critical Review: I have used Keen hiking shoes and sandals for 10-15years but the last couple pairs of both shoes and sandals I have gotten are just not as supportive as the previous versions were. These hiking shoes look great and are made with high quality materials. I have always worn a size 9 in Keens but for some reason these were a bit big on me. I was able to tighten the laces and get them to stay on without too much sliding.

However, the big issue for me was the support here. There just isn’t much arch support. They do come with a removable insole. So I did try removing that and putting in a more supportive Abeo foam/metal orthopedic and that helped some. However, they just aren’t comfy at all. I tried them out on a 4 mile walk and my feet and knees were killing me by the end of it. Also these are super heavy compared to other hiking shoes out there.

At this point I am not sure if my body has just changed with age or if Keen has changed their shoes. These just did not work for me at all. I have started wearing more Oboz and Hoka One One hiking shoes and those work much better for me. Both of those brands provide more arch support. The Hoka One One’s are much lighter in weight and I don’t have any issues with my bad knee when I hike in them.

I am sad to say that these newest Keens were just an absolute no-go for me. They were so painful to walk in and just had no arch support at all.

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 4) KEEN Women’s Targhee 3 Low Height Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Keen Hiking Shoes Women: KEEN Women's Targhee 3 Low Height Waterproof Hiking Shoe by Store KEEN Store

Product Summary: The KEEN Women’s Targhee 3 Low Height Waterproof Hiking Shoe is a versatile and comfortable shoe that is perfect for any outdoor activity. The shoe is made with a waterproof leather and mesh upper that is perfect for keeping your feet dry and comfortable in any weather condition. The low height design of the shoe makes it perfect for any terrain, and the EVA midsole provides cushioned comfort all day long. The rubber outsole of the shoe offers traction and stability on any surface, making this the perfect shoe for any adventure.

A 5-Star Review: These are lightweight for a hiking shoe and sturdy. I love these so much that I bought two pair—the raspberry and a blue pair. They’re my go to shoes for most days and I wear them to death. Keens are a nice quality product. I’d ordered shoes from them directly, but during this pandemic their staff was overwhelmed and when I had to return them it was a major hassle. That’s why I bought my next two pair here. I hike a lot so I tend to get my shoes a half size larger so I can wear thick socks and not lose any neatly pedicured nails if I’m hiking downhill. I tie them tightly and it works for me.

A Critical Review: Last year I purchased a pair of these Keens, made in Cambodia, and right out of the box, they were absolute comfort, ready for hiking. This year I purchased a pair, made in Thailand, and after wearing them around the house for a week, my toes were burning. Toe box was smaller than last pair, same size, same model. The top of opening was stiff, carving into inset. Luck of the draw. I will keep trying, because I do love the design and durability, lightweight but good support for hiking rough trails. They are also ideal for climbing steep concrete sidewalks in the city.

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 5) KEEN Women’s Ridge Flex Low Height Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Keen Hiking Shoes Women: KEEN Women's Ridge Flex Low Height Waterproof Hiking Shoe by Store KEEN Store

Product Summary: The KEEN Women‘s Ridge Flex Low Height Waterproof Hiking Shoe is a great choice for your next hike. With a waterproof and breathable membrane, you‘ll stay dry and comfortable all day long. The lowcut design provides flexibility and maneuverability, while the EVA midsole offers cushioning and support. The outsole is made from nonmarking rubber for durability and traction on any surface.

A 5-Star Review: Great Hiking Shoes! They are comfortable, waterproof and I really love the flex feature. I would highly recommend these Keens.

A Critical Review: They feel very bulky and clutsy while wearing, not the usual Keen comfort in my opinion

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 6) KEEN Women’s Terradora 2 Waterproof Low Height Hiking Shoe

Keen Hiking Shoes Women: KEEN Women's Terradora 2 Waterproof Low Height Hiking Shoe by Store KEEN Store

Product Summary: The KEEN Women‘s Terradora 2 Waterproof Low Height Hiking Shoe offers the same great features as the original Terradora, but in a lowercut design. These shoes are perfect for hiking, walking, and even light running. They feature a waterproof and breathable membrane to keep your feet dry and comfortable, while the lowcut design provides added mobility. The cushioned footbed provides support and comfort, and the durable outsole provides traction on all surfaces.

A 5-Star Review: Purchase Reason: I needed grippy waterproof shoes to safely walk my large dogs on slippery, wet, and broken sidewalks. Pros: Good grip on slippery uneven surfaces, stay dry in puddles, and feel less confining than a traditional hiking boot. Cons: Narrow toe box, stiff, the arch support placement feels a little uncomfortable on my feet. Returns are a pain for me, hoping I’ll like these shoes more after breaking them in.

A Critical Review: I neglected to read the reviews on this shoe before ordering. This was my fifth pair of Keen Terradora shoes ordered in past 5 years (work in an outdoor nursery). They are VERY narrow and run smaller than past versions of this same shoe. I got a great deal on used pair and am sad to be returning them. Will try again with a half size larger.

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 7) KEEN Women’s Explore Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Keen Hiking Shoes Women: KEEN Women's Explore Waterproof Hiking Shoe by Store KEEN Store

Product Summary: The KEEN Women‘s Explore Waterproof Hiking Shoe is the perfect choice for your next hike. With a waterproof and breathable design, this shoe will keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long. The EVA midsole provides cushioning and support, while the rubber outsole offers traction and stability on any terrain.

A 5-Star Review: They are pretty stiff and hard to break in but they are waterproof! Great looking!

A Critical Review: While the shoe looked nice, it was very stiff and uncomfortable. And I found it to be a short and a poor fit for my high arch.

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 8) KEEN Women’s Nxis Speed Low Height Vented Hiking Shoe

Keen Hiking Shoes Women: KEEN Women's Nxis Speed Low Height Vented Hiking Shoe by Store KEEN Store

Product Summary: Introducing the KEEN Women’s Nxis Speed Low Height Vented Hiking Shoe, perfect for your next outdoor adventure. This shoe is designed with a low height to provide stability and support on uneven terrain, and features a vented upper to keep your feet cool and comfortable. The Nxis Speed also has a lugged outsole for traction and support on all surfaces, making it perfect for hiking, walking, or even light trail running. Whether you’re an experienced hiker or just getting started, the KEEN Women’s Nxis Speed Low Height Vented Hiking Shoe is a great choice for your next outdoor excursion.

A 5-Star Review: I’m an RN, working in an ER, 12 hr shifts. I have spent way too much trying to find a shoe that doesn’t have me feeling miserable after my work day. Decided to try these and so very thankful that these are it. I go through my day without thinking about my feet. Will get more. I don’t think they’re the cutest things, but at this point, I don’t care.

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 9) KEEN Women’s Explore Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 10) KEEN Women’s Tempo Flex Low Height Lightweight Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Keen Hiking Shoes Women: KEEN Women's Tempo Flex Low Height Lightweight Waterproof Hiking Shoe by Store KEEN Store

Product Summary: The KEEN Women‘s Tempo Flex Low Height Lightweight Waterproof Hiking Shoe is perfect for your next hike. With a waterproof upper, you‘ll be protected from the elements, while the lightweight design won‘t weigh you down. The lowprofile design provides stability and support on uneven terrain, and the cushioned insole will keep your feet comfortable all day long.

A 5-Star Review: I was a little concerned about having to slide my foot into the shoe since I already had knee pain using a shoehorn helps because you don’t have a tongue free on the sneaker to open it up to put your foot into. It is like sliding on a glove in your foot. But that seem to be what I needed it holds my foot perfectly and immediately I felt a relief from walking pain. I walk at least a mile to 2 miles a day and by the end of the day my knees are fine

A Critical Review: The size was fine but when I had it on it felt like something was poking into the back of my heel. I returned them.

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 11) KEEN Women’s Terradora 2 Vent Low Height Hiking Shoe

Keen Hiking Shoes Women: KEEN Women's Terradora 2 Vent Low Height Hiking Shoe by Store KEEN Store

Product Summary: The KEEN Women’s Terradora 2 Vent Low Height Hiking Shoe is a versatile and comfortable shoe that is perfect for any adventure. The shoe features a mesh upper for breathability, as well as a KEEN.Dry waterproof membrane to keep your feet dry. The low-cut design provides flexibility and mobility, while the EVA midsole provides cushioning and support. The rubber outsole offers traction and durability, making this shoe a great choice for any outdoor activity.

A 5-Star Review: Got these for a trip to Europe. They were great over cobblestone streets and lots of walking. No break-in discomfort.Very pleased

A Critical Review: Shoe tongue is sewn in like a slip on shoe. I found this confining. I have worn keens for 4 years now. Sizing and fit really varies widely. I have Keen hiking shoes and usually get several pairs of Keen Rose sandals to wear from April-October in Las Vegas, every year. I wish all of the Womens shoes fit like the sandals.

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 12) KEEN Women’s Steens Wp Hiking Shoe

Women's Steens Wp Hiking Shoe

Product Summary: Casual shoes for women can be anything from sandals to loafers. They can be made from a variety of materials, including leather, canvas, and rubber. Some women prefer shoes with a low heel, while others prefer shoes with a higher heel. There are also a variety of styles and colors to choose from, so you can find the perfect pair of shoes for your wardrobe.

A 5-Star Review: I LOVE THESE SHOES! I have always loved hiking since I was a little kid and never stopped. I just always used what ever old sneakers I had around the house to hike in. But as I’ve gotten older and had kids my back and hips need more support. I’m not as young as I once was and I feel the effects of poor quality shoes on trails the next day. I never bought a pair of good quality hiking shoes before because I never had an issue or felt any pain from hiking in my shoes before. But now I do. So I started doing some digging to find the best! because I go on so pretty rugged trails and my shoes really get pushed to the limits; the park usually sneakers are falling apart after a really good hike. And so I thought if I’m going to spend a large amount of money on hiking shoes I want them to 1. Last(get my money’s worth at least) 2. Have good support. 3. Be comfortable ( good support and comfort don’t always go hand in hand ) 4. Have good traction and everything I read led me to keen! I spent months literally because it’s hard for me to spend money on myself especially on shoes and of this price I’m a cheap skate when it comes to my self for my family and my friends I don’t think twice about price if I know they want it. Any ways I looked at so many brands read reviews for months pondered watched YouTube reviews on so many brands everything still just led me to keen. If your debating like me STOP! These really are AMAZING SHOES! I am so impressed and beyond happy with them! I know these will last so many hikes I’ll get my monies worth and then some they have the most amazing traction, support and comfort! Just really blown away really wish I had started investing in good hiking shoes when I was younger. P.S I recommend looking at the sizing chart and measuring your foot to make sure you get the correct size as I did if you have never had keens . It is in CM NOT INCHES so keep that in mind. Because I have found that I wear a different size shoe depending on the brand. So just to make sure.

A Critical Review: So, I was very excited when I received these, as my last pair were done. I hike every day, and don’t expect my boots to last more than about six months, because they won’t. I did almost 8 miles in these this morning. After about five miles, my toes on my right foot, and only my right foot, started burning, and felt like they were going to explode. I’m an 8 in all shoes, but always size up in hiking boots, and ordered a 9 in these. There is a lot of room I the toe-box which I loved. What I didn’t love was that it seems five miles is about my limit in these. I hike anywhere from 8-15 miles/day, so that easy going to work for me. I’m sure they’re great for most people. I think I just have a weird thing with my right foot. If these didn’t hurt my feet so badly, they would have been five star shoes. They are absolutely adorable.

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 13) KEEN Women’s Explore Mid Wp Hiking Boot

Women's Explore Mid Wp Hiking Boot

Product Summary: Take your trail game to the next level with the KEEN Women’s Explore Mid WP Hiking Boot. Built to withstand the elements, this boot features a water-resistant leather and mesh upper for breathability, as well as a KEEN.DRY waterproof membrane to keep your feet dry. The cushioned EVA midsole provides all-day comfort, while the rubber outsole delivers traction and stability on all surfaces.

A 5-Star Review: Might be 3. I’m a solid 11 in these shoes. And Voyageurs, which are the non-waterproof equivalent of these. First purchase of this wtaterproof version for the winter. But they are a bit shorter, and much less wide/tall roomy in the midfoot and front of foot…yet the heel is wider. I have a narrow heel but can wear Voyageurs and should have been able to wear these because they have a way to cinch the heel tight which is UNIQUE and not advertised. So both, ostensibly, you can have your narrow heel and very roomy forfoot…podiatrists recommend this strongly for feet. Toes can spread out (ideally in this style if they fit right, as they do it multiple Voyaguer pair I have. I promise they are the same shoe same last same midsole no other ones have such a raised midsole.
I’m working on keeping the fore and midfoot much looser (there’s room if I can get lacing right) and how to cinch the heel as it is pulling up some, it does have the chinch mechanism.
That said, I have multiple foot injuries and this shoe lets me walk with orthotics (both are deep enough by far for orthotics) longer than any other shoe and I am so greatful. Especially people with forefoot injuries. Like Morton’s neuroma where your toes need to spread out, this shoe and the Voyaguer are golden.
SInce the midsole is so high, the heel is high, and that off weights your heel…if you have heel injuries as I do. This height and heel to toe slope is hard to find in running and hiking shoes. Yet it doesn[t at all feel wobbly or precarious or like you’d twist your ankle.
Shoe is firm and stable and supportive.
It breathes very poorly so your feet get stinky, small price to pay.
The midsole on this and Voyageur is duel density…those Brown swaths that inject far into the midsole toward the back of the shoe keep the midsole from breaking down. I wear down midoles horribly due to my irregular stance. These haven’t worn down, the Voyageur with the identical midsole lasted a year of daily use and the midsole has not collapsed. !0 hours a day. Again these are the only keens with quite as thick quite as “duel density” resistant midsoles.
I think I can make this work. Maybe there is less room in the same size of Targhee compared to Voyageur because it also has a waterproof membrane.
Traction is superior.
My toes feel like they grab the ground more, using appropriate foot muscles despite being clad in built up shoe. I think this is because the width of the front of shoe/toes ball of foot lets toes spread correctly like when you are barefoot.
Try these if you are looking for orthotic friendly shoes especially. Or injuries. If they are too deep or wide for you, just purchase a midsole from a drugstore, can be a cheep one, put in under their removable insole that comes with the shoe, and it’ll take up some volume.

A Critical Review: I love these shoes. I have owned 2 pairs and just ordered another. I deducted 2 stars because the quality seems to have declined. The first pair I bought in summer of 2016. I wore them hiking daily in the mountains, hiking around 5 miles per day over rough terrain. I wore them out but they lasted about 10 months and held together well. I have no complaints. I ordered a second pair in spring 2017. When still new the black tread started coming off. A big chunk came off actually. Since then (winter 2017) rips and tears have appeared in the remaining black tread. They have not held up as well as the first pair but they are still good shoes. I just ordered a replacement pair (Jan 2018) in the same size as the previous 2 pairs of this exact shoe, but this pair was too small and I had to return. I placed a new order for 1/2 size larger and I hope that works. Just concerned that the quality of this shoe has declined, although the price has remained the same.

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 14) KEEN Women’s Nxis evo Waterproof Fast Packing Shoes Hiking

Women's Nxis evo Waterproof Fast Packing Shoes Hiking

Product Summary: The KEEN Women’s Nxis evo Waterproof Fast Packing Shoes Hiking Boots are perfect for any outdoor adventure. With a waterproof and breathable upper, these shoes will keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long. The EVA midsole provides cushioning and support, while the rubber outsole offers traction and stability on any terrain.

A 5-Star Review: I recently took a trip to Ireland and Scotland for a month. I was concerned about the amount of rain that we might see, and I knew that we would be walking a lot. I ended up making a last minute purchase for the shoes, and I did not have a lot of time to break them in. They were very comfortable the entire trip, and I appreciated the way my feet were held stable on very rocky surfaces. In both Ireland and Scotland, you have very unstable walking areas, so a shoe that provides stability is probably even more important than the waterproofing. These Keens did the job!

A Critical Review: I really wanted to like these shoes. They were comfortable right out of the box and easy to walk in, the also kept my feet dry in wet and muddy conditions. However, after about 120 miles they are already developing a hole right where the shoe bends by the toe. For the price I expected better durability.

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 15) KEEN Women’s Terradora Ii Wp Hiking Shoe

Women's Terradora Ii Wp Hiking Shoe

Product Summary: The Terradora II WP Hiking Shoe from KEEN is a versatile and comfortable option for all your outdoor adventures. The waterproof construction and breathable mesh upper keep your feet dry and comfortable, while the EVA midsole provides cushioning and support. The lugged rubber outsole gives you traction on all kinds of terrain, making this shoe perfect for hiking, walking, or just exploring the great outdoors.

A 5-Star Review: I bought trekking shoes for the first time because I’m going on a trekking beginner’s trip.

The normal size is 24.5 to 25 cm, so order a 25.5 cm at Prime Try Before You Buy.
The legs are wide, but the sense of hold on both sides is just right, and
there is a feeling of relaxation with ordinary socks. I bought it because it seems that I can adjust the tightness of the string and socks.

My biggest concern was whether my ankle would rub, but it was okay to walk to the neighborhood prefectural park for about two hours.
It’s lighter than it looks, and it doesn’t feel rough when you wear it.

Sneakers slide on slopes such as gravel and damp soil, but they grip the ground well. I think the price is reasonable and good for getting started with trekking.

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 16) KEEN Women’s Tempo Flex Low Height Lightweight Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Women's Tempo Flex Low Height Lightweight Waterproof Hiking Shoe

The waterproof and breathable membrane keeps your feet dry and comfortable all day long, while the lightweight construction ensures you won’t be weighed down on your hike. The cushioned footbed provides support and comfort, and the traction outsole helps you keep your footing on even the most slippery surfaces.

A 5-Star Review: I wore these during an Alaskan cruise. I wore them a few hours each day. They are very comfortable. Two of the port stops were rainy, these kept my feet warm and dry. I did change out the laces with the elastic pull kind, but would have worked just as well with the normal laces.

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 17) KEEN Women’s Nxis Evo Low Height Waterproof Hiking Shoes

Women's Nxis Evo Low Height Waterproof Hiking Shoes

Product Summary: The KEEN Women’s Nxis Evo Low Height Waterproof Hiking Shoes are the perfect choice for your next outdoor adventure. The breathable mesh upper allows your feet to stay cool and comfortable, and the EVA foam midsole provides cushioning and support. With a grippy rubber outsole, these shoes provide traction on any surface.

A 5-Star Review: These hiking shoes are not true to the size you follow your regular. I’m normally size 8, but when I buy Keen boots, sneakers, or shoes, I order them in size 9. They fit very comfortably in size 9. They are not for people with wide feet. I have flat feet and I can feel they have some arch support. Love the design, colors, and traction. My feet stay dry while hiking in wet conditions. I recommend these shoes. If you are trying Keen for the first time, I recommend buying a size up.

A 5-Star Review: My absolute favorite shoes! Comfy and cleans up in the wash beautifully. I’ve had them for a year and wear them all the time and they are holding up wonderfully. Now I need a red pair too!

A Critical Review: The soles are separated from the top after only 7 months of light wearing. Disappointing for a pair of shoes. Do not recommend.

Schade.

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 22) KEEN Women’s Terradora-w Hiking Shoe

Women's Terradora-w Hiking Shoe

Product Summary: The KEEN Women’s Terradora-w Hiking Shoe is the perfect shoe for your next hike. With a waterproof and breathable membrane, you’ll stay dry and comfortable all day long. The contoured footbed provides support and cushioning, while the EVA midsole provides shock absorption. The non-marking outsole offers traction and stability on all surfaces.

A 5-Star Review: I hiked through miles of desert trails this week and found these to be supportive, lightweight, and breathable. I have wide feet and bunions and have no issue with the fit of this shoe. They are very comfortable- almost like a hiking sneaker. I own other Keen shoes and have hiked in Targhees for years, but I wanted something more breathable for the hot dusty trails and these were great! The color is pretty true to the online picture- they’re a soft plum color.

A Critical Review: I tried these on in a store and when they arrived they did not feel as supportive, the padding for the front of the foot felt thinner than the pair I tried on. When I wore them my feet slipped around a bit no matter what. I have had Keens before and this did not happen. I am glad I did not spend the 130 most stores charge for them.

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 23) Keen Women’s Aphlex Waterproof Shoe

Women's Aphlex Waterproof Shoe

Product Summary: A women’s outdoor shoe is a type of shoe designed for use outdoors. They may be designed for specific activities, such as hiking, camping, or mountain climbing, or they may be more general-purpose shoes.

A 5-Star Review: These are really excellent shoes; I’m actually a very small man (being Korean is hard, you guys), but that doesn’t really affect my review. What does affect this review is that the last pair of KEENs I bought lasted 5-6 years despite being the only pair of shoes I owned and wore. These shoes were similarly built to last. Thick sole, lightweight but solid.

I bought them for work (I train dogs) and they’re waterproof, mudproof, droolproof, and ‘getting your feet stomped by 150 lbs of Old English Sheepdog’ proof. I wish they’d come with the no-tie clip laces, but that’s literally my only complaint.

A Critical Review: I really like this shoe & it took little to no breaking in. Seemed to wear down on the inside a little fast though. I have to find some new insoles or cushions for the inside. I have very wide feet & these are great for that. No pinched toes or blisters. I work 11 hour days standing & walking. My feet expand as the day goes on. About 2 hours into my shift I start to notice the outer sides of my feet, towards the middle, ache in these shoes. Theyre not tight. I think its just the shape of the shoe. After wearing kitchen clogs for 5 years my feet have gone flat & wide. Theres not much curvature in this shoe but its enough that my feet notice. They are holding up well. I love the soles. Not too thick or thin. Theyre really lightweight. Shoe strings are the perfect length. No extra long laces hanging on the side. The tongue IS stitched in so its not adjustable. I like the look & got a great deal. Im happy with them but on hiatus until I find the right insoles.

Keen Hiking Shoes Women # 24) KEEN Women’s Presidio Hiking Shoe

Women's Presidio Hiking Shoe

Product Summary: The KEEN Women’s Presidio Hiking Shoe is a versatile and comfortable shoe that is perfect for any adventure. The shoe is made with a leather and mesh upper that is both durable and breathable, and it features a KEEN.Dry waterproof membrane that will keep your feet dry no matter the conditions. The shoe also has a cushioned EVA midsole and a non-marking rubber outsole that provides traction and stability on any terrain.

A 5-Star Review: This shoe is so substantial, with a great support in arch and uppers, and a heavy grippy bottom. I’m surprised to hear one Amazon vendor call it a “sneaker” when it is to me obviously a hiking shoe. I will use it for city touring and daily winter use as I have “bad feet” which are short and very wide in the forefoot with neuromas bilaterally and a tendency to pronate. Most Keens work well for me but this design especially! I originally ordered the lavender pair, but it was an odd, grey-shark tone instead of a positive color so I returned them and got the absolutely lovely rich blue shade instead.

A Critical Review: This shoe began to split from the sole after my first walk in them. My previous Keen shoes have always held up well.
These are a no-go for me.
