Bir is known all over the world as a best playground for paragliders and is a paradise for tourist who wish to take a safe tandem Paragliding sport. The Mountain Biking in Bir will give you the unique adventure experience. Bir is one of the best aero sport sites in the world. Billing is 14 Kms away from Bir. With the mountain ranges serving as an amphitheater.

Itinerary / Tour Plan

Day 1 – Arrival in Bir, our team will be there to welcome you and take you to the warm and comfortable stay in guest house in Bir. Enjoy the scenic view of the landing site with the welcome drink. You will be seeing the humans flying with the paraglides.

The wide open ground with breath-taking scenery of snow clad mountains surrounding it from three sides forming a panorama. The beauty of the landing site is breath-taking. Enjoy breakfast, tea and coffee. Freshen up and Rest.

In the afternoon we will have lunch and be ready for the Mountain Biking Experience, where you will be given high quality MTB Bikes with trainer and guide to take you to a thrilling mountain biking experience in pine forests of Bir towards Sherabling Monastery.

The monastery is famous for its beauty and architecture and tall statue of Maitreya (Future Buddha) towering giving his blessings to the lucky visitors. It’s a mind blowing and must visit experience for people coming in to Bir.

We can enjoy upto 5 hours experience of MTB in Bir and then proceed back to our guest house. Where snacks will be served with coffee/tea and bonfire will be waiting for you to keep you warm, 




Day 2– Today we will head towards Billing in the cabs, the route to Billing gives you the feel of the drive in the hills with the freshness in the air. We will reach the take off site in Billing and have a small break here and will start a short trek towards the Rajghundha forest.

You will see the snow on the trek and luckily you may spot some wildlife in the forest as well. For the best and the most unforgettable experience of your life for a 20-30 Minute awesome adventure as you will be flying at such an altitude and eventually jump down 900 meters below at Bir. 


Those who dont want to paraglide can eventually choose to trek and walk in snow a little further towards Rajgundha. Before evening we all will reach back to the landing site in Bir and spot the coloured sky during the sunset. You will be served with snacks and coffee to rejuvenate you. Later in the evening we will start bonfire and Music + Protien rich veg/non veg meals and snacks for more fun. 

Enjoy bonfire for much needed warmth after adventure full day with conversations, music and lots of laughter making the fond memories to cherish forever. Retire in your guest house at night with a good night sleep while browsing the amazing pictures and cherishing the once in a life time experience.

Day 3– In the morning have breakfast, check out from your hotel/camp, enjoy some nature walks, nearby treks. You can also visit the market of Bir and explore around as their will be numerous things to shop around as well as cafe and eateries or simply click pictures and enjoy the marvel of paragliders, showing their stunts all day.

To learn about the Indo-Tibetan culture of the Bir, you can stroll around in the Market and spend some quality time sight seeing in nearby areas like Gharnala, Baijyanath and Palampur, or head back to your homes with wonderful memories.

Good team, but all of them are too lenient on late comers….we had a great time, but were late by 4 hours at starting point itself and that resulted in our trek to Triund to start late afternoon instead of morning. Otherwise, very friendly n cooperative team and fun to travel with. Packages are quite competitively priced. All the best, will definitely join TDG for another trip in near future.
